I just wanted to start this review off by saying Het Patel was absolutely amazing. I barely experience great customer service nevermind coming from a fast food joint. When we arrived we were greeted with nothing but smiles from Het. I have a disabled son in a wheelchair/stroller whom we also brought along. Most people don't bother to acknowledge him. We usually just get stares and weird looks but Het acknowledged him by smiling and waving and trying to communicate with him...
I don't mind the fries, but they do get soggy pretty quickly if you don't eat them right away. I also prefer the vegetarian gravy over the regular gravy as it has a better flavour. It's also a bit on the pricey side for what you get, but it's still a decent option when you're craving poutine.

Food tastes good and portions are good, but last time my husband got the pulled pork poutine he got food poisoning. We weren’t sure if smokies was the cause so we ignored it.
He got the pulled pork yesterday to give it another try and was violently ill again this morning. I got the pierogi poutine and was fine.
