Completely mundane borderline disappointing experience. 10 mins+ to get out drinks, ordered breadsticks as appetizer and they came out with pizza. Had to go up and request plates. Refills super slow and pizza was just 'okay.' Hardly any cheese on a $36.50 pizza. What a disappointment for a birthday for my 4 kids. $100 tab for two pizzas and breadsticks, go elsewhere

The Grant location is the best Sorrento's in Winnipeg! Yes I have tried the other locations!
We usually do take out but we decided to dine in.
We ordered a variety of foods this night; bacon wrapped scallops, bruschetta sticks, cauliflower bites, feta salad, pepperoni and mushroom pizza and the chicken parm!
Salad, chicken parm and pizza were stellar as always! The cauliflower bites were the best I have ever had anywhere. I will go back just to eat 2 orders of those as a meal LOL The bruschetta sticks were awesome. My bro in law said the bacon wrapped scallops were just OK. I do not eat them so I have no idea!
Food and service were great. Bench seating a little old and worn

So unprofessional, long waiting times for my order

Absolute garbage service from online ordering. My wife ordered via UberEats and we tried calling the restaurant directly for updates, their automated answering system when you try to speak to a live person rings 5 times and hangs up. Still waiting for our food and it’s been nearly 2 hours since the order was placed, and still no one able to answer a phone in their restaurant. Terrible service in what used to be a good restaurant.

We ordered the salad, calamari, and meatballs. Unfortunately, the calamari was burnt and tasted like the oil was rancid or off. We sent it back, and the waitress responded, “I can’t promise it won’t be burnt again,” which was disappointing. The meatballs also came out burnt, took a long time to arrive, and were sitting in nearly an inch of oil which was pretty unappetizing. The salad was good, as it always is, but overall, we were really let down by the quality of the food this time. We’ve been coming here for years, but this visit was disappointing: greasy, burnt food and we still ended up paying $75.

We have ordered the Sorrento salad many times and it is usually good but today it seemed as though someone forgot the dressing and our Sorrento pizza lacked toppings ,very disappointed it was also dry

You should communicatethe clear timing for food preparation. It is not ideal to make your customers to wait 40 -45 minutes past the given time.

You can't beat a Sorrento's salad. Best in the city. Great family or friends gathering place.
But surprisingly no gluten free pasta options. There's no reason for this oversight. C'mon Sorrento's get in the game.
EDIT: Response from Sorrento's indicates they do have a gluten free penne - That's Great!!! Just make all your wait staff knows this. Since our server did not. Still - I'm always coming back for the salad :)

I picked it up, this was my first time, their salad are always the best & I just had a bit of the pizza but looking so forward to more tonight! I will order the pizza again as it had real ground beef & lots of it!

Tried to order but no one bothered to pick up their phone. After my 5th attempt i decided to call Santa Lucia. They picked up right away and gave us delicious food. Sorrentos loses another customer.
