After living in winnipeg for 11 years and drove by this well known establishment many times, the wife and I decided to check it out. Definitely worth it. It’s a hidden gem for sure. Great atmosphere and exceptional service. Would highly recommend. Worth the trip! Pics enclosed are beef dip which is marinated for 2 days and slow roasted to perfection and monte cristo sandwich 🥪

Would also like to mention that the owner who introduced her self as Kelly made our dining experience that much better with a free slice of turtle cheese cake.

I had the displeasure of watching the blonde owner yelling at the staff for the hour I was there. I could have chewed on the hostile atmosphere. Owner was so mean to one staff (employee photo wall said had worked there 15 loyal years) that the person quit and left. I will not go back if this is how they treat people.

This is a small restaurant with really good food! Everything is homemade. Four of us went there for lunch but we all had breakfast. We all loved our meals. Meatlovers skillets and meat lovers omelets. It was busy there on Sunday at lunch. They also have one of my favorite meals, a Monte Cristo Sandwich, which is hard to find.

The staff is very friendly, very clean and cozy, homelike setting. The food is soo good! One of a kind, homemade, not greasy. The portions are great! They even sell food to take home, or buy for Mom and Dad to Heat up easily in the microwave. If you love soup, this is the place to have it, daily soups are always different and delicious. I've been going for years, reasonable prices and worth it! Check it out! I know you will like it!

Very small portions for $27, no drink. Clubhouse on rye and a small Greek salad. Tasty but overly expensive. Ordered for pick up. No waitress service or space occupied. Would not order again. Disappointed.
