I liked the buns I got. Baked fresh daily. Get there early because they sell out fast, especially on weekends.

Gotta go back to try their dim sum.

Update: Dim sum is ok but not great. Some of the tastes are off or bland. Not enough to return. Prices are not worth it. If you go, take someone with you who can read Chinese. Service can be iffy. Buns are still definitely worth going.
Pretty authentic Chinese restaurant. They barely speak English. Lots of Chinese people when you go inside. The portions are pretty generous, service is kind of slow, but they really don't have a lot of staff. So one person does hosting seating, serving, takeout, cleanup etc. Food is pretty good, more authentic than Canadian if you know what I mean. They also have the usual sweet and sour and chow mein if you want it. Free chicken fried rice if you order for takeout over...
As far as Xiao Wen's tea restaurant is concerned, overall it's pretty good. In terms of food quality and quality, as well as service, it is at an overall average level. Especially the takeaway pineapple custard buns, which are generous in portion and delicious. The Xingzhou fried rice noodles taste good, but I forgot the name of the one with green pepper and shrimp. There are also fried sesame balls, which have a name that is rarely used, and they taste good too.
