“This place is phenomenal. I come here 3 times a week if not more and I have to say the customer service is bar none the best in Winnipeg. The food is always tasty, plus all of their delicious sauces! Their massive beer selection, plus rotating tap keeps things fresh. The atmosphere is the best. More TVs than I have ever seen in a pub. There is nearly every board game available to play, plus the internet trivia that is always fun! Do yourself a favour and try this place out! You won't be disappointed. Say Hi to Ryan the bartender while there, he is riot!“

They are friendly, kind, courteous, patient and display customer service better than any place I have ever been. They make you feel welcome and not only that, the patrons are friendly as well. I would go here as often as I could. Anyone who is looking for a taphouse, this is the place to go.“

“It was our first time there tonight and it was good food. My only complaint is the Fettuccine . Alfredo well let’s just say I couldn’t eat it. The sauce was so so sweet. definitely not your typical sauce will not have it again and will not recommend it but everything else was excellent. We definitely will go back and give it a second shot. “I can’t give enough stars to this place. I have been coming to tav for years and as soon as you walk in the door you feel welcomed. I have celebrated so many milestones, birthdays, jets games and ordinary Friday nights with friends here. There’s always something on special that doesn’t break the bank. They are great to book in parties upstairs for retirements, birthdays or whatever you are wanting to celebrate! All the people who have served me over the years, Sarah, Tyler, Miguel, DK, Marquin, and so many more I can’t list them all…have made this place what it is. So many memories are made here!! “Went here recently for first time - was skeptical but heard good things about their breakfast so tried it out. Clean with very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Had the basic breakfast which was really good with very generous portions (couldn't even finish!) and it was ready really fast. It wasn't very busy when we went - so not sure if its always that fast. The building has a bit of a rough reputation but would highly recommend it for breakfast and lunch at least - its definitely worth a shot for anyone living or working downtown.“

The Managers are awesome when it comes to booking, and the staff, servers and waitresses are amazingly accommodating considering the volume of people and orders. “I’ve had two family and friends celebratory dinner dinner here and I’ve never had any issues. The staff has always been extremely nice and pleasant and the atmosphere is always great. I like quiet areas. It was never too busy and the food was amazing. Also, the price of drinks are way better than anywhere else I’ve been in the city. Service is usually a tad slow, but not neglectful, just not much hustle. They’re super friendly, though, for the most part.

“St. Louis Bar & Grill nailed it. We shared the SOCAL Salad and wings — asked for extra, extra crispy and they delivered! The St. Louis hot sauce had the perfect tang and spark of heat. The SOCAL Salad with Cajun shrimp was fresh and flavorful, and the spicy margaritas were outstanding.
