Get workers who can learn your menu. Same person, couple weeks later still confused when someone asks for pumpkin spice latte, asking what is pumpkin spice. Asked for iced tea, she offers iced coffee, like how this two things can be confused

If I could give this Starbucks a 0 I would. I am writing this angry message as I’m waiting now over 20 minutes for my drink. The workers make the orders from the line up first and make all the digital orders wait! What is the point of making a digital order if I’m still waiting in line?! Awful awful Starbucks.

Very slow… I ordered my drink around 8:05am on the mobile app, it said it would be ready at 8:11ish. I ended up getting to the Starbucks in the bookstore around 8:10. I waited for my drink until 8:30. I had class at 8:30. So I’m writing this review out of frustration

This is posted more than a year after the fact, but it still needs to be said.
When making a purchase, a previous customer's transaction for $250 of gift cards was not processed and the counter person said it would clear before my under $10 purchase was made. I believed this and tapped my card when they said it was ready, realizing immediately I was charged for my drink AND the $250. The counter person admitted it was their mistake but a manager could not be contacted right away and they did not know how to refund the transaction in the meantime.
Spoke to the manager in the days following and they had to investigate first, which took well over a month, for such an obvious error on their behalf. Then Frances said he would like to meet to remedy the issue but it was very difficult to arrange a face to face during exams and then regular semesters being over. Eventually, they quit replying to messages and also numerous attempts to get in touch with Food Services resulted in no replies. Contacting Corporate Starbucks was pointless as they kept saying they had no control over the University run franchise over and over, and never appeared to bother contacting the UofM store. Eventually Corporate Starbucks said they could get involved but then told me I should have contacted them sooner as now it was beyond the point they could do anything.
Moral of the story is to check and make sure you are being charged accordingly first because the money I was overcharged should have been back in my account the same day or by the end of the week. By admitting they overcharged and yet made very little attempt to return that $250, almost suggests that the manager might have just kept the money and the others that should oversee this like Food Services and Corp SB are complicit in this theft.

Staff are lovely, too bad they either can't hear or have the memory of goldfish. Twice in a row they got my order wrong, on the same drink no less. I ordered a venti, they punched in a charged me for grande, both times. They even repeated my order correctly back to me both times and still managed this. Two different Barrista's both did the same thing. I have no idea how they get grande out of venti, unless they all need more caffeine to wake up to process what they're hearing.

That said, still tasted good. Only complaint is the bit about hearing what I say for the size I want.

I order the same drink every time, but they make it differently each time at this particular Starbucks. It’s unlike any other Starbucks I’ve been to. I feel like they don’t know what they’re doing and are just messing around, almost as if they're just here to fill in time. I’m really disappointed with this location.

I love starbucks but this location is the absolute worst. I have not once been happy with a drink I have gotten here. I ask for light cream and my drink is always more cream than coffee. Its so frustrating considering how expensive it is..

Terrible Starbucks location. They are not knowledgeable about the drink menu here, and they lack communication. Every single time I order a coffee frap here, they add whip cream to it. The person taking my order will literally tell me to my face that it doesn't come with whip and then 10 minus later I'm served one with a heaping amount. To top it off, they will proceed to scoop the whip out and serve me a cup that is 75% filled, how amazing.

The few iced drinks I order are always made correctly even with the customization options. The Frappuccinos and Lattes are unmatched! I do wish the store merchandise was abit cheaper. The cups/bottles on the shelves go from $30 - $40+ which is just ridiculous.

when i went to this location at 1:20pm on the 6th of september i had an incident of false advertising and as i kindly asked for it to be adjusted the workers started laughing at me. The manager on duty was the main source of conflict. extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. i am very hurt by the way the staff treated me.
