I am disgusted with the treatment I recieved at this location, im a disabled individual and I have cancer, so I suffer from severe incontinence issues. I went here after a doctors appointment with my girlfriend and her sister, and while we were figuring out what to order I asked to use the washroom. I was denied because I hadn't purchased anything yet, so I politely explained that we were going to order and I was here with other people, I just needed to use the washroom. They still denied me so I explained that i have cancer and they refused to let me use the facilities. So I went to the manager and explained my situation and she started yelling at me saying that it's policy and it doesn't matter if I have cancer or not. So I explained that it was illegal to deny use of facilities and that they were discriminating against people with disabilities by denying them. She continued to yell at me, stating it was policy, and I need to be a paying customer. So I said again that I was going to be a paying customer, because the people I was with were going to order for me while I was using the washroom, so I wasn't going against policy, I just needed an exception because I am disabled and I have cancer. I am throughly disgusted with the treatment I recieved and I will never be a customer again at any location, especially since this one is connected to a hospital and they were not capable of empathy towards people that are suffering and need help. I don't know if it was truly because of policy or if it was because of discrimination due to my disability, my medical conditions, or the fact that I am part of the LGBTQQ+ community and identify as a non-binary and queer with a black girlfriend and I am white. So it could just be plain racism and targeting LGBTQQ+ members, but what i experienced was dehumanizing and never should happen.

edit: Starbucks Canada rectified the issue but it seems even they agree the customer service at this store isn’t up to standards

I mobile ordered the same drink on the app that I did 2 days ago. 2 days ago I had no issues. Today I showed up and I was told the way I ordered the drink on the app should be “different” so they are unable to make it. Not that they didn’t have the ingredients to make the drink but that they didn’t want to due to the way it was order. Unable to refund me as it was a mobile order. Unable to make me a new drink complimentary at the same price. Made me pay for a new drink and told me if I wanted a refund for the drink they couldn’t make me I could contact Starbucks Canada. Also made me wait for multiple orders to be made before they made the second drink. Ridiculous. Awful customer service especially to somebody that’s a regular

Had a drink remade after my wife gave birth and initially the miserable worker was snarky and said no. Her coworker smiled and walked over to remake my drinks. Shout out to her!

My boyfriend ordered a venti matcha, 8 classic pumps. He came with little less liquid (which i didn’t mind at first, idc) but off dark color, I tasted and it’s so bitter. I supposed its too much powder or less milk. So I asked him to go back, and came back with this- a quarter less. I called to ask why, they asked if I ordered less ice. Uhm, no. I don’t need refund. I spend almost every week, The inconvenience is what pisses me off. They even sounded pissed on the phone as if it was my fault. This never happened with other stores, its always accurate and tastes nice. Please do better with the service. People spend alot already to receive this kind.

The baristas were friendly and quick but the
manager seemed to be very rude and disrespectful making the environment uncomfortable. My kids looked visibly upset at this poor attitude. We will not be coming back.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt like I had to after what I saw earlier. I was just waiting for my drink when I noticed one of the baristas off to the side, clearly in distress. It honestly looked like she was having a panic attack. Her coworkers seemed concerned and were trying to help, but you could tell she was overwhelmed. She was still trying to do her job, which made it even harder not to feel bad.
It didn't seem like a customer caused it. The vibe felt more like something internal, and honestly, the energy behind the counter felt tense overall. I've worked in customer service before, and I know the kind of pressure that can build when a team isn't being supported properly from the top. The staff here have always been friendly and hardworking, but seeing that really made me question what kind of environment they're working under. I hope whoever's leading this store takes a serious look at how they're supporting their team. No one should be pushed to that point just trying to get through a shift.

I recently visited a Starbucks expecting to enjoy the usual perks of the experience, including Wi-Fi, which is a standard feature in most stores. However, to my disappointment, there was no Wi-Fi available during my visit.

As someone who often chooses Starbucks for its comfortable environment to work or browse the internet while enjoying coffee, the lack of connectivity was inconvenient. Wi-Fi access is one of the reasons many of us choose Starbucks over other cafes, so it was frustrating to miss out on this essential service.

While the coffee and ambiance were up to the usual standards, I hope this location resolves this issue soon to maintain the consistency Starbucks is known for.
