I work in the area and have been coming here for years and years. As of recently, whenever I go here, I get the impression I am inconveniencing the staff by being there. I find that they rush you, make sloppy sandwiches, and their lettuce always looks suspicious too! There is also one girl who works here who is extremely rude too - very unpleasant to deal with. If I see her working, I walk right out. I prefer to go to the Cavalier location even though it's further for me. This restaurant is usually clean and well kept though.

I went there in the evening of Oct. 2 and the male worker had the audacity to badger me for a tip. In no way did the employee attempt to improve my experience. It even took a lot of back and forth for him to understand that I wanted fried onions on my sub, which shows he was subpar at doing even the bare minimum of his job. He did not try and converse with me, to make the experience better in any way that would have made me want to leave a tip. That behavior is completely unprofessional and rude and reflects poorly on the company.

Pickles in the guacamole and crispy onions in the letus. I’m shocked at how disgusting this place was.
The service and attitude from the employee really stood out. I could tell even though this was only a sandwich shop he was working hard to make it feel like a 5 star experience. That kind of work ethic is a dying breed.

I really appreciated the sub prepared by Poonam. She listened carefully to my preferences while selecting the veggies and ketchup, responding attentively to my yeses and nos. Most importantly, she changed her gloves after handling the meat sub, which I truly value. Great service!

It's our go-to restaurant for a quick bite when we are at the new place. We do online orders for pickup, quick and easy. The app sometimes is a challenge to find deals. Since the construction on Portage it might be difficult to go for a quick stop, You need to turn right on Doods Street and access parking from the back.

I live 30 minutes west of Winnipeg and therefore my closest subway is the headingly one. However, they make terrible samwhiches so I drive the extra 10 minutes to this location as their was an older white women who made amazing samwhiches. I dont know where she went but the past 5 times I have come to this Subway location, shes gone. The current workers make the most poorest samwhiches out of any subway I have been to. Tell them lots of green peppers, get 4 peices across a footlong, tell them more, they add one more peice and we repeat this game untill 10 times later when I have a regular amount. Same game with sauce. No one has time to sit there and play games to get a proper made samwhich. On top of that, the prices have gone up 30-40% at all subways and instead of just price gouging us to make more money, it seems they are instructing there employees to make samwhiches as cheap as possible so they can make even more money. People need to just boycott subway untill they stop being so cheap.

I went to this store and this is the second time I faced hard time due to one of old worker. Her name is “EVA”. I think she needs training for customer service as well. So that she know how to treat their customer. I am vegetarian so I just tell her to change the gloves but her reaction was like so rude. Seems like someone pushing her to do job. May be due to old employe their manager and upper management don’t take any action because I didn’t see any positive changes on her. I went to eat their but due to her behaviour I came back.
