Our most favorite Chinese restaurant in the city! This is not your typical Western Chinese food. Seems authentic to me as it reminds me of our trip in Hongkong! HK has the best foods in the world! This is the only place in Winnipeg where I can order crispy shrimps with heads (yes I eat the heads and pretty good!). We usually order the pork hocks (my husband’s favorite), crab and fish maw soup, crispy chicken and crispy squid on sizzling plate and the crispy Cantonese chowmein. Today, I tried the soft-shelled crab in egg yolk on egg fried rice! Really good! I particularly like the mixed tea and coffee milk drink! We have been here countless of times and never disappoints! The Peking duck and lobster chow mein are also both excellent! This place brings me joy and comfort !

Sun Fortune Restaurant is my absolute favorite place to dine in Winnipeg. Their service is excellent and truly customer-oriented. I also love hosting my guests at Sun Fortune. The food is delicious and authentically made.

FORCE PEOPLE TO TIP. They took forever to take our order, they didn’t even bother refilling water, we asked the server twice and seemed to not care, we waited a long time for the food to come out in which we had to wait longer for one dish. We only saw the server when she got our order and when it was time to pay she purposely said to tip covering the no tip button, I don’t mind tipping but if you force people to then it is not something u deserve, I press the no tip and she said a bad word in her language. She asked why we did not tip, well maybe if you don’t force people to and let them decide and maybe serve the customer better then you will get the tip you deserve. HORRIBLE PLACE. CHANGE UR STAFF FOR SOMEONE BETTER!

We used the home delivery for few times already and every time the food was delicious, very tasty and nicely prepared .Will use them again for sure in the future.

Excellent Chinese food restaurant. Food is great, staff are friendly and polite. The restaurant itself could use refreshing (remove stacked boxes, and stored items in the seating area) and a good cleaning would be nice. Furniture could be upgraded as well.

Absolutely love this place! The food is amazing! They have a wide variety, and very good portions, which are reasonably priced. The service is great. However, I do recommend pre- ordering if you dine in, as they are usually very busy. If you are looking for the best Chinese food, it's definitely the place to go to!

Prices go up and also decrease the size of food portion, have to order at least two or more dishes for the family!

Delicious Hong Kong style Chinese food. Menu includes 100+ very authentic dishes and also considerable number of westernized (American/Canadian) Chinese dishes. Their opening hours have been greatly reduced post COVID. Required reservations most of the time. Fair price for the amount of food.

Unexpected stop . Dont stop. Keep looking for another Chinese restaurant. What an awful experience. I have travelled extensively, and know good foot. Seems they must pre/cook the food and warm it up as the soup arrived within 5 mins. . The lemon chicken was awful and the sauce barely covered the food. They made no attempt to ask how was your dinner. It was disgusting. THE Worst. Chinese food ever..

First time there. Looking forward to going again. Food was so good!
