My experience is from working there , my first minute in the kitchen i noticed roaches dead and alive . My 2nd day at work and they were shut down , owner tells me because of 1 little mouse ... BS it's roaches too , after a week off go back and they're still around mice and roaches . There is absolutely no cleaning products besides no name bleach which is for silver wear and floor only , bathrooms don't get cleaned EVER , no laundry system for workers no gloves worn EVER . 90% of the dishes are chipped and cracked and she has no full time workers but takes half hour off every day plus some , she plays dumb and lies alot . This restaurant is just GROSS. Look it up they get closed down lots plus she's well known at the labor board .she doesn't like water used on dirty dishes for high water bill so your dishes go in a bin for washing and washing machine has NO chemicals at all

I've previously left a favourable review and while the food is still as good as ever, today's experience has soured me.
The waitress, who has been there "forever", and more times than not, comes across as "unfriendly" in our interactions. I go back for the food, not for the company, so to speak.
That being said, today, she crossed a line of sorts. Though she cleared away the previous customer's dirty dishes, she didn't bother to clean and wipe the dirty table top. I'd have moved to a different table, but all the remaining available table had dirty dishes as well. So I sat in the cleanest corner. In retrospect, I should have just left.
It appeared that she was by herself and it had been busy, still no excuse to not do her job. How do you excuse an experienced waitress from neglecting her job, a simple task, wiping off a table.
The icing on the cake was when I received my bill. Instead of placing it on the table, she tossed/threw it.
Anyways, my tip, or lack thereof, reflects my impression of the "service" received today.
Today's experience, did not exactly leave a good taste in my mouth. I'm not sure that I will be returning anytime soon. There are enough good restaurants in the city where a customer is treated with respect.

I ordered pancakes with no meat, but they put bacon on pancakes, it was a worst breakfast I ever had. I had to throw it, Also I asked the lady to put fork and knife, but I didn’t find any. Never recommend. I wasted my money n couldn’t eat breakfast.

One of the best Diners in Winnipeg, great food, some of the kindest staff I’ve ever met. Hard to see off of route 90, but it’s right next to Great West Maintenance. I ordered and my food came out in 10 minutes. Definitely come here

I've recently started going back to Sun Valley for early morning breakfasts and Friday lunches - I'm still trying to get there for Tuesday lunch when they serve their perogy soup!As in the past, the food is fantastic with wonderful and friendly service.Well worth stopping in for a delicious and satisfying meal.
