Came for lunch with a friend and got there right for 12 noon when they opened.
It had been years since I'd eaten here and it was delicious. The service was hospitable. The dining area is nothing special and the washrooms can use an update. I have some food allergies and mentioned them to the staff and I had no reaction to what I ate. The food didn't take too long to come out and what was supposed to be hot, was. My only disappointment was that we ordered the roasted rice green tea but it lacked the roasted rice flavour. The bill for the 2 of us came to $102 all in. We had edamame beans, 2xmiso soups, pot of green tea, 8pc tuna sashimi, asstd vegetable tempura, 2x California rolls with REAL crab, yam roll.

Food is ok. Not great. Some of things we ordered was just slathered with sauce like the poke and the okonomyaki. Otherwise, they were ok. Chicken karaage was not too bad. At least this time, they put the sauce to the side.
The special sushi rolls aren't worth it. Avocado roll was the best. Good portion of Avocado with minimal rice.
It's inside a mall that doesn't seem to get too busy. Parking is convenient. Serving is ok. Seating is fine. But based on the food and the price, I won't be returning any time soon.
I don’t know how they don’t have 5 stars. This is one of the best sushi restaurants in Winnipeg both in terms of quality, quantity and price! They also joined TooGoodToGo to minimize waste and I love when I can get a surprise sushi tray because it will always be delicious. They have nice big rolls with good ratio of filling to rice and their prices cannot be beat! Also a great selection of rolls. My only wish is they add hand rolls to their menu but that’s just because I love hand rolls.
