Food is great, but, bad service. 2 hours is not enough. Have to wait 1 hr for the first food to arrive

We asked something about our order and they responded so rude specially the manager/counter. We asked the other server but she interfered and intimidated us with her loud voice. The food was nice in the first serve but the second one are so bad. The chicken katsu has a lot of oil as if it wasnt drained enough.

No one mentioned anything about “do not lock pad”, after we sent the order, we waited for half hour and no one came to us, until I found out and went to check with service staff, she was like: oh you shouldn’t lock the pad after you sent the order, if you do so, then they are unable to get order. But as I said, NO ONE MENTIONED ANYTHING when we were there. And no one came to check with us either! We were just sit there for half hour without any thing. After I spoke with them, there were no apologies either!!!!! DO NOT COME!!! POOR ATTITUDE

Overall, the sushi is tasty, but the all you can eat option is disappointing. The service is slow, and it feels like they’re trying to make you full by delaying between dishes instead of serving generously. At around $35, it’s not worth it. If you don’t want to serve unlimited food, don’t offer it. Regular dining is a better choice.

We had a very unpleasant experience here and won’t be coming back. The service was unprofessional and made the entire meal uncomfortable.
My boyfriend ordered a refillable drink, and I didn’t want one. Despite that, the waitress came over while he was sipping it and told us we couldn’t share drinks — even though the drink was clearly on his side of the table and I hadn’t touched it. The comment was unnecessary and felt accusatory.
The sushi was disappointing — mostly rice with very little filling. We removed some of the excess rice just to make it more enjoyable, and a different waitress came over to tell us we were “wasting” food, which felt incredibly rude and inappropriate.
We asked for an extra plate three separate times and never received one. Meanwhile, the waitress kept checking on other tables and completely ignored ours.
Overall, the food was mediocre, but the attitude and service were what really ruined the experience. They won’t be seeing me or my family here again, please save your money and goes where else that appropriate your business.

This place is our goto place for Japanese buffet. The price has increased though and they are now forcing you to pay for gratuity. Plus now, there's a time limit to how long you can stay for the buffet. We like the shrimp tempura here a lot. But the size now is not what they used to be. More flour and small shrimps now. To make it worse, they only give you one tempura sauce per table and there were 3 of us. We requested for additional sauces but were given only one additional. We had to divide the sauces among the 3 of us. For the increase in their price and forced gratuity, what is an additional tempura sauce? I just realized also that their gratuity is actually computed on your food total, GST and PST. So you are also paying gratuity for the GST and PST. Then the washroom... they were cleaning it when I went there after our meal. When we were done settling our bill, they were still cleaning it and they didn't know when it will be finished.

Easily the worst all-you-can-eat sushi in Winnipeg. The staff were rude and super slow, the food was inconsistent, and we had to reorder multiple times just to get our food, sometimes waiting over 30 minutes. It felt like they purposely dragged out serving to make us full on less food. We used 1.5 hours of our time waiting. Definitely not worth it. (edit: the beef was undercooked aswell almost raw.)

Keeping people in the loop. The government takes its time but I am right. I am going through all channels I’m ending tips on tax. I’ll be coming after all restaurants that do. Patience will win the race here.

K BUT ALSO 10% TAX ON THE TAX PORTION AS WELL LIKE YOU CANT TIP TAX. IF YOU TIP TAX MONEY THEN THATS THE GOVERNMENTS MONEY NOT YOURS LOL. BUT THEY DO IT ANYWAY HERE. IF YOUR FOOD BILL IS 50 YOUR TIP IS 5 DOLLARS BUT YOUR CHARGED THE 5 DOLLARS PLUS 10% Of THE VALUE OF THE TAX PORTION. CAUSE AGAIN THEY THINK ITS OK TO STEAL MONEY AT YOUR COST. THEY CLEARLY DONT CLAIM PROPERLY WITH THE GOVERNMENT OBVIOUSLY I DONT SEE HOW. STOLEN TAX FREE MONEY THATS WHAT I SEE HERE AND THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS FROM LACK OF KNOWLEDGE AND CARE TO BE HONEST. STOP TRUSTING THAT THEY ARENT TACKING CRAP ON YOUR BILL ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK IT YOULL SAVE MONEY YEARLY I GUARANTEE IT. IM DONE WITH ANY AND ALL RESTAURANTS THAT FORCE TIPS

Feel bad about the negative reviews, had a good experience.
We ordered fried rice and they're very oily. And the sushi pizza was burnt. The short ribbon beef was just fatty. Not worth the price.
Horrible service! My friends and I kept being watched and were made to feel very uncomfortable! And when we wanted to leave they were trying to gaslight us into staying but we left!
