Sushi June is in the Eaton Place food court so it's food court atmosphere. Quite good sushi and it's 30% off at the end of the day which is great timing for a Jets pregame meal.

This is my first time seeing anyone put rice and breadcrumbs inside the sushi roll and cover them with a ton of breadcrumbs on top to disguise them as salmon sushi

Had sushi for lunch. The staff are always so nice and polite. Everything was great, except I didn't have enough soy sauce for my last three pieces when I got the two roll/box special. Not sure if that means I ask for two... But maybe I use too much ?... Either way, I'll be back!

The food is always fresh it is much better than all the restaurants in the mall as it is family owned healthy and fresh the price is also resonable after 3 they offer a 30% discount

I used to go there all the time when working a block away 5 years ago. Still great. Restaurant quality in a food court? Yep, possible. Walking away, I felt that peace that comes with a good meal in the tank. I think I will go there before work on the weekdays from now on. (I had the salmon Maki and California rolls. Along with fried chicken dumplings) also if you want fresh tasting sushi consistently every time, this place is it. If you want more than fair prices, this place is also it. My only regret is that I didn't buy twice the amount of sushi that I did, even then I was comfortably full and happy in my decision.(update) aug 25th, 2022...still 5/5. Great sushi, few places are better than the tastes of Sushi June!

Friendly guy at the front. Sushi is not too bad, but certainly not the best (and I'm not comparing it to the expensive ones that tend to be high quality). I think it could be better for the price that it is. Still, not too bad.

I showed up at 545 after he spent 10 minutes haggling with another customer over what remained in his case he ignored me for a couple minutes then a 555 he informed me they close at six and couldn't help me. I generally order about $50 wort. I will not return.

They don’t treat customers equally. Same orders , but I didn’t get the same as other customers.

I love this place!! The chef is really nice and I got to meet another worker there and he was very generous with giving me a gyoza to try (chicken gyoza was amazing btw) The sushi never fails me and is a great spot for pickup if you work or are making your way through downtown Winnipeg :) thanks sushi june

MY wife found this sushi restaurant in Winnipeg, City place - her experience there was excellent - the chef explained everything really clearly, so she understood exactly what it was they had to offer. She took the teriyaki chicken (came with chopsticks) and to boot got a free sample for being a new customer ***Kudos***

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place, because their service is always phenomenal and their products are always delicious and high quality. When I can get it. What I don't love is how unreliable their hours are. They're posted as open to 6PM, but it's not always that. There might be a Jets game and I can show up at 6:30PM and they're still open and I love that. I might have to order off the menu and pay full price which is fine, because they don't always have things prepared I can eat (due to allergies). I'll always order off the menu and pay full price if I nothing is prepared and I'm very happy to do that to support the business and staff. What's not a good experience is that I can show up at 4PM on a Jets game evening and they're already closed. Or at 3PM on a non-Jets game day and they're already closed. Sometimes I go by at 2:30PM and they're already closed, today, a Jets home game . This was three consecutive weekdays in a row. Maybe I need to call ahead or something, but if you're not open until 6PM, don't post your hours open until 6PM...? Especially not if you're closing before 3PM. I'll keep checking by if I want sushi but I'm not making anymore special trips. Please be consistent.

The best sushi in Winnipeg! I wholeheartedly recommend these lads, excellent customer service also!

They actually go half price in the evening and will even make a fresh roll if you have a allergy. The sushi tastes the same everywhere. Same fish? Nice rice texture.
