We got to go, we got 4 rolls some wasabi and ginger containers and extra wasabi. We had a few pieces outside in the car and the portions were small and average tasting at best, my girlfriend had a piece of ginger and realized while eating it it tasted a little moldy. Before we could get home she was nautious and by the time we were home she was puking. I called to tell them about our experience and warn them before they got other people sick. The first person did not understand what I was saying and she passed me to another person. After explaining the problem the response I got was OK?... I work in restaurants have for 20 years. I didn't want a refund or anything, but it's not what you say it's how you say it. The reply was dismissive and like what he ment was and so what. Appalling customer service. I do not recommend to eat here because they don't care about there guests. If I could give this review zero stars I would.

Honestly what can’t I say about this place? By far the best sushi place in all of Winnipeg. Even better than the places I’ve tried in the rest of Canada. The quality is top notch. Fresh fish, perfectly ripe avocado, and even the cooked meats are never over/under done. This place has never had an off day and what you get is perfectly consistent each time you order. Something this restaurant does unlike any other sushi place I’ve encountered is their “New Hampshire roll”. Think sriracha, tempura, avocado, and BACON! I have never found anywhere else that does a roll like this and it is an insanely different take on conventional sushi, but damn is it good. As far as the classics go though, I have never found better sashimi in my life. You can really tell the quality of the fish when the sashimi is beyond impressive just by itself. What throws me the most about this place is that they are one of the least expensive sushi restaurants. I have eaten sushi that was double the price and still far lacking compared to sushi N. Seriously, this place is worth the drive even from the other end of the city.

My previous experience from 12 years ago was really good. Big portions and price was fair and service was great. But tonight experience while I went in during a transit to another province was nothing like before. Small portions, expensive, and unprofessional service. I was told twice at the door that the restaurant is “closing soon”when I just got in at 6:50pm (closing time was 8pm) and again before we order food. Then, told me twice again that the kitchen is closing at 7:30pm while I was eating.
Customers be the judge. This is my review and it breaks my heart to see my old favourite place became like this.
