Definitely my favourite sushi place now! as soon as we went inside, everyone was so nice and we got a freshly cleaned table to sit at. The waitress was so nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The food itself was really good! unique combinations in sushi that was really yummy and cool! We got quite a few different platters including the Danzzu-Danzzu, TNT, Danny’s, and Dwight’s sushi and the beef teriyaki entree. They were all so good and well made. We even ordered take out afterwards to bring back for our family that stayed home. All of that came out to a very reasonable price which is always great. Further, the chef’s were so nice and awesome - we got some miso soup and they let us try some new salmon sushi they had made on the house. We loved it!! Overall, the place is great, the people are great, and the food is great! Only downside is the parking. We had a lovely time here!

Me and my boyfriend went for supper today. Not only was the food absolutely phenomenal, but the service was amazing. They gave us miso soup and a sushi roll on the house!! I hadn’t been there in 8 years but it’s still just as yummy as I remember it to be. This is hands down my #1 favourite sushi spot.

Waited a short time for table. Was decent sushi the sashimi was great the tempura shrimp always a good choice however the calamari was ok little rubbery/ overcooked. Not many places have perfected this item. The sushi pizza was the worst item we ordered, greasy. Tried the miso soup. Small place food service was quick Staff was fast and friendly.

Very chill and the food was amazing. Great service and very attentive to customers’ preferences. Unexpected gesture from the chef too to serve the Sh-bomb on the house! Sashimi’s a must try, takoyaki is the best I’ve ever tasted and the croquette is a must-try! Overall, amazing experience!
They treated my 3 year old super nicely and even gave her a bonus roll on the house!
I got the entree Sashimi Combo and enjoyed every bit of it. The portions were quite generous and I ended up with more food than expected. The fish was well prepared and cut. The tempura was light, crispy, and delicious.
All around, it was an excellent meal and experience.

One of the most affordable but good quality sushi in Winnipeg. This place if deal breaker for couples for the a la carte/ sashimi/ nigiri section on their menu. Everything seems so cheap that i ordered too much. The waitress is friendly. The atmosphere is chilling.

My friend & I decided to try a new sushi spot and landed in sushi ya! It was a great atmosphere, the server and chef’s were very sweet & gave great service :) we ordered quite a few rolls and only waited about 10 minutes for our order, it was awesome. They were very accommodating to my friends order due to preference and we also got to try their famous T.N.T roll!! Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a good eat.
