Went to see how close the taste was to France as a personal interest. Had a few goods. All very well made. The texture of the croissants and pain au chocolat were as you would find in France which was spectacular. Worth the 2.5 hour drive. The sourdough bread was also very delicious. Staff were fast, efficient and friendly.

So I love the food you guys make and serve but the customer service is a little lacking . I was greeted by one worker and then waited maybe a minute or two before another asked me what I would like. It almost felt like I was an inconvenience being there asking for croissants. The croissants on the other hand were to die for

Everything thing i have tried from Manny has been beyond expectations. The croissants are the best and everything is house made, including the fruit and pistachio fillings. All of his breads are excellent as well. We are so lucky to have a baker of this quality in Transcona.

BEST croissants I’ve ever tried! When I went they were nearly sold out (which speaks to how good they are) so now I’m planning an earlier visit so I can try other flavours. I had ordered the berry croissant and Nutella croissant. Both were so flaky, crispy and chewy all at the same time. It was well worth the high sugars haha

I want to thank A Taste of France for going the extra mile and accommodating my request to write a special note for my partner. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture, and it truly made the experience unforgettable. The attention to detail and warm service made us feel so special. The pastries were delicious. Highly recommend this lovely spot for anyone looking for not just amazing food but also a personal touch!

Everything is fantastic here. I'm partial to the wild berry croissant my wife to the chocolate Swiss one. But you honestly can't go wrong. Service is sometimes a little crappy not everyone knows everything about the products but it's always quick and courteous.

I had a very unpleasant experience today . I ordered garlic cream cheese croissant along with 2 other products and while eating the croissant, I unknowingly chewed on two pieces of plastic. It wasn't until I realized what it was that I stopped eating. This is a serious concern for both safety and quality. I’ve enjoyed their products in the past, but I’m really disappointed by this incident. I hope they take better care in ensuring this doesn't happen again.

I searched the city for sour dough with simple & clean ingredients (no seed oils). Finally I found this gem and it did not disappoint! The service was wonderful and friendly too.

Took some baking to go. Cinnamon buns and lemon tarts were to die for. The lemon curd was so perfectly good, meringue delicious. Cinnamon bun so light fresh and the taste of Cinnamon was so good. You can tell premium ingredients are used. Will definetly be back.
