amazing friendly staff, best croissants, their almond croissant is the best I've tasted. their cinnamon buns are fabulous. many thanks from the strange Northern Ireland man that comes in with a grin. walking into the shop in Westminster for me is like a child walking into a candy store.

Something Random

The staff was rude to one another, which isn't something that should be done in front of customers. Because of that, the food and the overall feel of the place was ruined

Yummy. Great bread and pastry. Very great! See pics. Try to walk past these treats, it’s hard lol. Tasty and made with care. Busy. Lots of attentive staff, always bustling about, cool vibes.

Don't buy from this place, owners are terrible, they like getting into lawsuits with their employees over petty things.
Do not support them or their behavior.
The whole company is simply sickening.
They should be out of business.

I came to pick up Saskatoon berry pie. I called to check if they still had it. I wanted to take it as a gift to my family in Ontario. The service was great, and they made sure to keep it for me to pick up.
I also checked if they had frozen berries. I was told that they didn't, but I found frozen berries in their outside display freezer, and they refused to sell them to me. I felt a bit of dishonesty on their part about this 💔. I also tried their chocolate brownie; it was amazing.

I came here for the cinnamon bun but I was disappointed. Didn’t enjoy it, it didn’t taste fresh… the coffee was good though.

You gotta get their carrot cake!
They do it very well. And when they have the vinetarte during winter its' *chef's kiss*, just like oma made in Gimli.

Sometimes I will pick up their day old cinnamon rolls. This probably isn't too healthy, but I take them home and add some vegan butter and heat them up in the oven.

Even with 5 or 6 people in line during the Forks busier hours, I am never waiting more than a few minutes. Staff/bakers are good, and very fast.

Every time I'm at The Forks, doesn't matter if that's a short visit or get-together with friends I end up at Tall Grass Bakery. Their almond croissant, fruit danish, bread & buns are delicious.

My daughter brought me out for Mothers day lunch and quality time together, we looked around the restaurants for Vegetarian options for myself and I came across Tall Grass Prairie bread. I absolutely loved my Mothers day lunch from here! I had a half of a veggie sandwich and orzo pasta but the absolute cherry on the cake was the Mushroom Turnover, it was the best thing I have ever tasted.... I may have sent my daughter back for 2 more LOL... I will definitely be back for more!!! the only downside was my croissant didn't get put in the bag so It was forgotten about until after we left.

Vegetarian options: veggie sandwiches, salads, turnovers etc
