Me and my 3 friends and I just got back from there this evening. The service and the atmosphere were amazing! Great casual place for eating and to have a get-together with friends. The only reason why the food is 4 stars is because the mini corndogs my friends had were a bit cold. However, I have gallstones, and they were able to substitute the deepfried chicken with grilled chicken thats more friendly on the gallbladder. The waitrise we had was very sweet she picked up our plates and drinks the second they were empty, and she was very easy to speak to. Would definitely send my family and friends here for a get-together!Dietary restrictions: If you ask the waitriss, they can substitute the unhealthy deep fried chicken with fresh, healthy, grilled chicken and wheat bread instead of white bread. It's healthier for gallstones. That's just for my meal, though there are ALOT of greasy foods there, though but if you ask they may be able to help you make it healthier if your on a diet or have health problems that prevent you from eating greasy food.

Had a 20 person group for a birthday who came and went throughout our time there and the staff made sure new arrivals got drinks, people there for a while getting food. Amazing how she was able to handle everyone at different stages of their stay. Incredible

It's a tavern. If you've been in Winnipeg any amount of time you know exactly what you're getting. Pretty busy on UFC nights, you might not get a spot!

I come here quite a lot. The food and service is normally pretty good. But after last night I feel I have to leave a review. I was staying at the hotel that’s attached. And because the hotel’s restaurant was closed we came into the tavern for a meal. We had some drinks and a few appetizers and one burger and my bill was $200. Upon reviewing the bill the next day I have been nickel and dimed. 1.99 for some extra sauce for the chicken wings $5 for extra cheese? It came out in a tiny sauce container that definitely wasn’t worth it.
Worst place I ever visited. Thanks for ruining my friend's birthday party. Especially to the Indian security guy at the front. Will never visit this place again.
