I have been going to this fine establishment since summer of 89, the only place in St. James to get a decent burger and fries. Any time that I am feeling like it’s a very bad day, I always go here because the comfort food fills up the emptiness of all of the shenanigans take away. And as much as I know they call that chilli cheese fries if you’re adding cheese curds to that I stand by my statement that that is a chilli poutine and they do a miraculous job of making it the right way. So glad that the sun of the original owner has stayed true to his dad‘s recipe.

The best part is the food. I forgot how great fries can taste until I came back here. The best! Also, what I particularly like is you can have a mini meal so smaller size burger and fries. That's usually all I need to keep me coming back for more!
You get a pager and can wait and then eat at the picnic tables out back which is nice too.

It was our first time visting this store but so impressive with the manager. While we were considering, he brought a box of chilli fries for a warm welcome, and then a poutine while waiting for our order. Burgers (beef and crispy chicken) are really good and flavourful. There are a lot of outdoor tables in the back for gathering and enjoying. Try it once for local support and enjoyment.
