This place is not what it used to be, it was once my go to and I would stop in a couple times a week. I miss the old owners. Since they’ve been gone I have grabbed food here a handful of times (the food isn’t what it used to be) and 4 out of the 5 times I watched people prepare food with used gloves that they had set aside instead of simply grabbing a new pair of gloves from the box that is right beside the area where they prepare the food. A woman took my payment (cash) and proceeded to try prepare my food with the same gloves she had on while taking my payment. I kindly asked if she could put a new pair on before preparing my food and she was visibly upset that I asked. Rolled her eyes and all. Today the same thing happened where the man put a used pair of gloves on that again, he had set aside to reuse. I have never seen any of these new folks that work here wash their hands. Not once. Hand hygiene is so important when preparing food. Why is it so hard to simply wash your hands or at least use new gloves when preparing food/stop wearing the same gloves that you wear when taking payment to prepare food. If that’s how you are in front of customers, I can’t imagine what other unsanitary stuff goes on. Now if this was a one time issue I would not be writing this review but unfortunately I will not be back as it seems to be the norm here now.

Ordered on Skip the Dishes. A very disappointing Ceasar salad. Wilted and soggy. 👎😟👎👎👎

This meal was bland yet somehow still hard to stomach. The minimal few tiny pieces of chicken tasted foul and the wrap is majority unflavored mushy rice.

Its discraceful to serve this bad. I normally would avoid giving a 1-star review but have no guilt with this one. I've pictured their Bombay wrap, half lettuce half rice.

The price was too high and the food was not fresh or tasty, we spent 27$ and threw it out, the smoothie was good but still overpriced.

I've been going since opening day when it was called Zestos. Always a refreshing change from normal take out.

First time here and won't be back. Food sounds/reads far better than it is. Small portion, boring, over sauced melt. Could have added a pickle, coleslaw or some other greens with the melt. Ordered a Thai chicken melt and all it was; a small Flatbread with minimal chicken, some grated marble cheese and waaay too much sweet chili sauce. Tasted greasy and wet and honestly way too expensive for that. Inside was just ok. No signage to Washroom area and also dark, not lit. No welcoming expression or feeling from staff. Will not be back.

I'm leaving this review on behalf of my mother. She went in with her friend and waited for 20 minutes, while both workers were on their phones (the one was coughing and wiping their nose with their bare hand). My mum and her friend gave up waiting and decided to leave and go to cha cha wow instead, an amazing restaurant in the same strip mall as The Green and Grain. Since Cha Cha Wow is a real restaurant that's interested in making money, my mother and her friend were served in a timely manner by a professional waitress and ate a delicious meal.

Ordered one wrap 2 smoothies, almost 40 bucks

Way to much rice, the wrap had not much chicken and such. Old ownership was good. But I feel they are jacking up prices because less people are showing up and giving less

And rice was mushy

Smoothie was great tho

I wish new owners good luck with this restaurant, but it isn't easy doing what a lady did for 20 years great!

New owners…. Not the same. Bathrooms didn’t seem like they’ve been cleaned in a while.

The food is decent but they have become so cheap on their portion sizes! I have been here about 8 times now always ordering their panini and Cesar salad, every time the sandwich gets smaller and the salad portion gets smaller. I have left still hungry the last few times. For $16+ it is not worth the price.
Won't be going here anymore.

Would not recommend. If you need food it will do but not worth the prices. Unclear communication as to what things are, or what your getting. Won't be going back.
