we had the Bangers and Mash, a chicken sandwich and I had the lamb shank. I snagged a few fries from my wife because she was racing about them and said I just had to try them, she was right they were fantastic. I had the lamb shank which was pretty small portioned but I must say you do get a pretty significant piece of meat with the best veggies for competitive price.

The Grove’s Fish Tacos featured golden, lightly battered cod complemented by tangy pickled cabbage—absolutely delightful! For an extra burst of flavour, consider adding a handful of fresh cilantro. Overall, our evening with friends at the neighbourhood pub was lovely—a special thanks to our attentive and helpful server, Kayla, who made our experience even better.

It was my friend's birthday; we had an amazing night here. Kayle was serving us, she helped us for the cake, take-out...even taking photo for us, we brought some extra works-load to Kayle, and she is so nice and helpful, always checking our table, thank you Kayle! Will come back for other gathering.

To the owners of grove pub and restaurant, i'm sorry about my review in advance.But this is just my opinion.Anyway, the food was really not that great.I was not impressed as well with the service seem to have taken a while. As all I asked for was breakfast, I found the atmosphere. There was not bad at all tolerable as it was first thing in the morning, but I found the breakfast to be not up to the way I like it. The bacon was very, very small. And crunchy, along with the hash Browns, also very small and crunchy. There's only one choice for toast, and that was sour bread Dough or sour dough bread. Whatever it's called, they don't give you any Butter, unless you ask for it. And I found also the prices to be a little too pricey for the food, the way it was.

Hate giving 1 stars but this is a long one that explains why. We did were there for a birthday, one person has a very specialized diet vegan cardiac. Asked the server if the food was prepackaged or fresh, was told it was fresh. So she asked questions to try to determine if there was anything she would be able to eat. Basically there was nothing that she would be able to get as even the salads all had oils mixed in. The only thing the server could really offer was lettuce and vinegar. When the person in our party suggested something she was informed that it wasn't and option. This was fine she was willing to not eat and wait until later to eat and just have ice water with lemon. She was given a small glass of warm water with a slice of lemon. The rest of us ordered it took an extremely long time for the entrees to arrive. When they came out the meal for the birthday boy was wrong and taken back. It was a pizza and they brought out a burger. The fish and chips and chicken pot pie were brought to table for the rest of us. We were told the pizza was on it's way she just grabbed the burger by mistake so we started eating. After a couple minutes he still didn't have his food. When asked we were told it would be a couple minutes because it takes longer to cook pizza than fish and chips. It took about another 10 minutes. The fish was not crispy and puff pastry on the pot pie was undercooked. The pizza was soggy in the middle and had to use a fork to lift it. The server was pleasant and tried at the beginning once the mistake happened with the pizza happened she and said she grabbed the wrong dish she stopped coming to the table. The only time we really saw her was if we flagged her and then it was a long time for her to return. So she tried at the beginning and at the end the middle wasn't great. We understand that mistakes happen and would have understood if she said she accidently put the wrong order in and it would be a bit longer. We would have waited to start eating so we could eat together, instead we felt rude and she avoided the table. They did comp the pizza and dessert to make up for it but it was incredibly disappointing as it took almost 2 hours for this meal due to the service time and the food was not what we were expecting based on reviews.

Visited for the first time and was very impressed. Our server was a delight, the wait for food wasn't long at all and all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the chicken pot pie and it was divine. Friend had the fish and chips and gave it 2 thumbs up! The atmosphere is very laid back with a mix of traditional and modern. Pricier but the food and the vibes make it so worth it. The ONLY issue - I am a wheelchair user and it was extremely difficult getting in and out of the restaurant. Also the tables are definitely not designed to have a wheelchair under it. 9/10 will visit again!

The kind staff accommodated our group as one member of our party had a late evening appointment at Misericordia Hospital. The service and food was top drawer! It was our first time at this warm and welcoming establishment.
