Visited for the first time and was very impressed. Our server was a delight, the wait for food wasn't long at all and all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the chicken pot pie and it was divine. Friend had the fish and chips and gave it 2 thumbs up! The atmosphere is very laid back with a mix of traditional and modern. Pricier but the food and the vibes make it so worth it. The ONLY issue - I am a wheelchair user and it was extremely difficult getting in and out of the restaurant. Also the tables are definitely not designed to have a wheelchair under it. 9/10 will visit again!
Delicious, good service, cute atmosphere. Had the Habanero Mac and Cheese, which was amazing

My wife and I came up to visit Winnipeg from the US state of Iowa about a month ago to support our kind Canadian neighbours. Naturally, we wanted to try some poutine, but we couldn't quite decide which one, so I ordered the Traditional Poutine and my wife ordered the Butter Chicken Poutine. They were both delicious for different reasons. Next, we split a main dish, which the staff kindly put on two plates for us! We had the Lamb Sarnie (Shaved lamb on Focaccia with Horseradish aioli, Arugula, tomato, sautéed onion & Havarti cheese) along with the Cranberry Chèvre salad. With all the tasty food, some Strongbow Cider from England, friendly service, and relaxing atmosphere, we had an overall great exprience, and we think you will have that too if you give it a try.

Heard so many great things, wanted to love it, unfortunately it was just ok not great.
Server was pleasant, besides lagging in getting us refills on our water.
Had the salmon burger and house cut fries. Was looking forward to the grilled pineapple. It was intriguing, but disappointed when at best it was a slice of canned pineapple not grilled thrown on top of the salmon, also listed on the menu was basil mayo, didn’t taste any basil.
We also found a strong smell of cleaning products when we entered the restaurant and not the smell of delicious food, which was disappointing.
First visittime to the Grove. Absolutely one of the best in the city.
Nice atmosphere, great service and the food was amazing.
Definitely will be going more often.
