Very nice pub with good food and attention to detail on plating and drinks. Fresh cold beer on tap and delicious cocktails. Bartenders are always nice and welcoming and the kitchen puts out delicious meals and apps every time !

Sarah was absolutely delightful. We came from dinner where we didn’t have the best experience. We told her about our prior experience at a different location and got drinks from her and she completely turned our night around. She was awesome and it felt fun to be served by her.

The lamb sarnie and chèvre salad were unforgettable. One of the best meals I’ve had in years! The server recommended a local beer, too, and it was also

Service was so bad we thought we were neglected. We sent 3 different people to ask (kindly) about the food and the reply was that it was coming! But it didn't. An hour later, the manager came and had to retake the order because it was lost. They comp'd the meal but the way our concerns were treated was unsavory. The food was good but we all noticed that the menu has changed quite a bit. No longer small items for light appetites.

I was craving for poutine and someone recommended this place to me. I really enjoyed it. The portion size was great and the price was reasonable. I loved the gravy and was impressed to learn that it was made in-house. The chef who came up with the recipe must be quite talented. They also have a good selection of wine. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great for hanging out.

Impromptu lunch at the Grove. Had the chicken pot pie. It was fabulous! The puff pastry was perfect and the filling exploded with flavour. Hands down the best pot pie I've ever had. I also love the way they make their fries. Well worth the stop!

Service was extremely slow, but the waitress made up for it. Super efficient, on point. Well done. The cauliflower bites were pretty soggy and just luke warm also pretty small portion for two.The Harvard burger was delicious and fresh and the fries are chip truck style, which are also delicious. My wife had the chicken burger and she raved about the flavor and portion size. It was actually a double, but she took out one breast to take home.Overall, it was a full house so I realize service may be slower to bring out great food. The price point for what you get is reasonable.Would recommend.

It took over a hour to get our appetizers which is why I am giving this a 3 star. Food was really good overall but it took 2 hours from sitting down to getting out of there with no small talk after the main course as everyone was just over being there already. Our server was fantastic. I never once had to ask for a drink refill she just kept bringing full drinks and also topped up the water frequently. I wouldn't rush back but will come back at some point. Thanks for having us.

We have been to the grove multiple times in the past. However this was our first time back in over a few years. We had the curry squash soup and Caesar salad to start. The soup was delicious with a balance curry flavour. The Caesar salad was standard. Nothing out of the ordinary but still enjoyable. For mains we had the cod sandwich and Shepard's pie. The cod was cooked well not dried out. Both mains were accompanied by fries and tasted great as well. Unfortunately the Shepard's pie was extremely salty. It tasted as though it was reduced too long. The pastry on top however was light and flaky. Our friend at the table also ordered the Shepard's pie and agreed it was too salty.Despite the Shepard's pie being salty, the overall experience was great and the majority of the food was balanced and packed full of flavour.

Really disappointed with the overall experience. Ordered two different specials, one being the cod burger dinner, the other the beef shank as well as some drinks. The server was nice enough but the second meal didn’t come out until my partner was almost finished his -we had been advised it would be a few minutes so we ended up splitting his and planned on splitting mine since we had to wait. While the presentation of mine was nice, the taste was not. Very overseasoned and soupy - I ended up sending almost the entire dish back after. I wanted to like it, as it was quite an expensive dish, but neither of us could enjoy it.Drinks were also very over priced for what they were.Again - super nice staff but paying such a high price for something that I had to send back was a sour experience.
