The Handsome Daughter is such an amazing venue, transforming into whatever stage it needs to be for audiences and artists alike. The promoter who works there is such a lovely person, and the venue itself really feels welcoming! It's always been a good time, whether attending as an artist myself or as a fan of the local music scene. If you ever get the chance to see a show here I really hope you take that opportunity!
Nice little "hole in the wall" style bar. Love the garage door that they open in the summer with the patio. They do a great job of showcasing local bands & the restaurant inside (Magic Bird Kitchen) has great food & some of the best honey dill sauce (don't let the colour throw you off!).
Honestly I love the chicken coming out of their kitchen (Magic Bird). They also boast a great patio on a great street. In summer this place is fantastic to grab a beer. However their selection isn't the greatest, and it's only really a spot for beer. I wouldn't boast about their music either, as it's mostly up-and-coming punk-scene bands. If that's your thing all the more power to you, it's just not for me.
