We had a wonderful dinner. We celebrated our anniversary and was surprised with a complimentary dessert. The meal was delicious as always. Steak was fine to our liking and the food fresh. Thankyou Keg!!!
Our experience was not our typical Keg St. James experience. We were not sure if they were under staffed? We had to wait quite awhile for our bread and bottle of wine to arrive. The salad was incorrect and the meal arrived right after the salad came. We had booked for a birthday, but those details never were communicated to our server. The meal was good but the timing of everything seemed off. The server was trying hard but she seemed run off her feet.
My birthday celebrations took us to Keg St.James, and as past experience, it was an easy choice. I flipped from my usual wedge salad to a ceasar, had the popular baseball sirloin and topped off with a lobster tail. Rounding out the plate was a twice baked potato, mushrooms, green beans and roasted beets. And of course a couple of loaves of sourdough bread.
