The food and drinks are amazing every time I eat here but holyyyyy the service is beyond slow. They rarely check in at tables unless you flag them down. Some of our dishes were missed and not put in until we had been there for 90 minutes.

In a relatively central location, this is really a gem. Great fusion type cuisine and excellent cocktails. I was sure both for lunch as well as for dinner and loved everything they served.

Merchant Kitchen describes the food as Asian Fusion but to me it’s more in line with Latin/South American along with Asian dishes. Best of both worlds yet oddly confusing 😆. Love the vibe of the place and the bar. Love me some good cocktails. Limited cocktail menu but will make whatever your heart desires. Aston Margarita is a solid classic margarita. A polarizing cocktail is the Cafe Lima. If you like it and finish it, you need your picture posted at the bar 😂. Your palate is unique. Service was fantastic and attentive for a busy night. Recommend as a great place pre-event downtown.

Just had a fantastic birthday lunch and the service was absolutely superb, thanks to our wonderful waitress, Jules. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The food was delicious, and when the rice turned out to be a bit spicier than we expected, she immediately offered to change it at no extra charge—such a thoughtful gesture! Overall, a great dining experience, and we’ll definitely be back!

The chef here is obviously having fun and ready to accomodate dietary needs in an explorative and interesting way! As a vegetarian, I often end up at Merchant Kitchen with my meat eating friends because none of us are disappointed. Be sure to mention your dietary needs to your server before ordering, they are incredibly helpful, kind and fun. This is how a culinary experience should be!
