My Grandson & myself were at the McGillvray Original Pancake House today around 12:30 PM. The service was over the top. We felt like royalty. We only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. The restaurant was full & there were lots of staff. My grandson had the giant ham & cheese pancake & I had the banana split crepes, both delicious..The servers were courteous & amazing.
Secret hidden gem. Everything was awesome.

Had the Classic Eggs Benedict. The Benedict and the Pancakes were delicious but the hash browns could've been fried up longer.

The service was very slow, and the restaurant was not busy.
The food was so sweet, could not eat it.

Excellent lunch and good price. They also offer dinner. There are some great, adorable and affordable options for kids and adults alike.

The food is excellent and when I asked for my bacon to be crispy, it was perfect--not at all soft and not brittle either. We were a fairly large group (9) and 2 were delayed, so after bringing beverages, they left us alone. We did need to flag a server down when we were ready to order, which wasn't a real problem. Unfortunately, while they were good about bringing refills for coffee, they ignored the tea drinkers. When I asked if we could have more hot water, they brought me a new pot of water, but nothing for the other 3 who were also drinking tea.
The largest issue for me was the parking. The restaurant is in what was formerly a hotel but is now a private organization. There is therefore no parking at the building and street parking only on the short street in front of the building. While there is a lot of parking at the shopping mall beside the building, it's a bit challenging for someone with mobility issues. The quality of the food makes it worth patronizing, but not as often as I would if it was possible to park closer.

As you enter, there seems to be an unpleasant odor reminiscent of a restroom.

Food was great, service was amazing! I don't understand why they took down the park garage right beside the hotel. You now have to park on the street or at polo park

One of the most consistently enjoyable breakfast places in the city. Service is reliable, the food is tasty. Their Deluxe Hangover Omelette remains a personal favorite. Prices feel like they've (maybe?) risen a bit more aggressively than other comparable restaurants but as their quality has remained high that's been tolerable so far.
Very good eggs Benedict, but I ate way to much ,you won't leave hungry ?
