The Original PancakeHouse has always served the best breakfast with classic fluffy pancakes. This is a Winnipeg Icon with the original being on Pembina Highway. Always loved the Pancake House as our #1 Breakfast spot in Winnipeg.
My Grandson & myself were at the McGillvray Original Pancake House today around 12:30 PM. The service was over the top. We felt like royalty. We only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. The restaurant was full & there were lots of staff. My grandson had the giant ham & cheese pancake & I had the banana split crepes, both delicious..The servers were courteous & amazing.
Pancake House is a classic spot. Their prices are fair for the amount of food you get too! Servers are always nice also.
The only complaint I have is about their cubed potatoes. The texture is too soft, like it was boiled. I wish they would fry it a little more so there's a little more crunch.
