The Original Pancake House

Our fries were burnt & cold. My daughters gravy was cold and server dipped his finger in it when bringing it to table. We sat at our table for 13 minutes before being approached than another 40 mins till our food arrived. Server did 1 quality check on our table 20 mins after food arrived .. at that point why complain about our cold burnt fries. McGillivray location in Winnipeg. We will not be back. Food was NOT worth the $54.

Used to be good, kind of run down now. The place needs a good cleaning, dusty and walls covered in grime. Wait staff was possibly new, they were very forgetful and not very good. There's no plastic dividers for covid safety between booths and they seated people all around us, not separating us even though there were many booths and tables available to keep the 6' physical distancing rule. Food was mediocre, the bacon was really chewy and tasted like it was cooked hours before and kept under a warmer. Coffee tasted old also. It's unfortunate because I used to really like the pancake house but I don't think I'll ever go back now.

It's our favorite place to get Canadian style breakfast. Our favorites are the waffles, pancakes, and the crepes. Do get a lazy weekend breakfast/brunch at The Original Pancake House.

Great place for breakfast food with great friendly service.

Horrible experience.1. They do not permit you to sit in their sunroom unless the main room is full (Have they not heard of physical distancing due to Covid?)2. Their prices have risen sharply!3. They no longer offer breakfast specials during the weekday.I left and I am not likely to return unless I really want to deal with expensive food and less than accommodating service. Yes, the Giant Apple is that good to have me reconsider. But then I am on a diet, getting in shape and have goals to lose weight. So the GA will have to wait... maybe the service and company policies/attitude will be better by then? (I mean being realistic, I doubt the prices will come down)

I enjoyed my meal with friends at the Original Pancake House on Pembina Highway in Winnipeg.

Had an aweful experience there today. OJ was warm. Food was cold. Never received part of my order. Took forever to get the food. Staff was inattentive.

Very friendly and quick service. Food was very satisfying and hit the spot before a little road trip. 10/10 recommend the monti cristo eggs benedict.

Good food. Breakfast wrap was great. Followed COVID protocols.

We were turned away after being double vaccinated?. The management needs experienced managers. Won't be back for awhile.

We had breakfast at the Pembina location. Our food was good for the most part. Toast was burnt and the burnt sides hidden. Our eggs over done and over done. My coffee cup came with lips stick on it. With this pandemic not acceptable. We look under the table to find the previous customers used napkins. I went up to our server to get our concerns addressed. The manager was not available. Our server was the supervisor on duty. She did not take responsibility for any of our concerns. Just had excuses.

Really delicious, the food holds up so well for pickup! The pancakes are sooo good! My favourite location

service was good, staff were friendly, for the most part the food was very good - except the pan-fried potatoes did not seem fresh. As far as cleanliness goes tabletops and benches were clean and sanitized but under the tables I found were pretty dirty especially a table that's not being used had a garbage underneath it.
