beautiful space, service was extremely kind, the pear spritz was quite strong, but that’s just to my taste. the veal meatloaf was very filling, asparagus was tasty and mashed potatoes were delicious. i was super full by the end of my meal. it’s expensive, but you certainly get what you pay for. definitely have to try breakfast here sometime. :)
The food was excellent but the service was sloppy, even non-existent. Between our order and our dishes we waited 1 hour and no waiter came to see us, to find out if we wanted drinks or something else. After an hour we were served starters and main courses at the same time. Too bad because the food was worth the detour.
Nice brunch. Not quite the buffet of the past but the setting in the oval room is always classy and enjoyable. The bill won't be a small one but you won't leave hungry and the service is great as usual. I wouldn't bring the kids but it's a great spot for a nice breakfast in the heart of the city.
