It's a lovely cosy space with some truly innovative takes on different global cuisines. Husband and I are tried several different dishes and couldn't pick which was our favourite as they were all exceptional. We also really appreciated the variety of mocktails available since we're currently in Dry January. Thanks very much for truly tasty meal!

Impressed every time. Their food is so detailed and amazing but not stuffy and bougie. Their cocktail menu is unique and delicious, as well as their non alcoholic options (so impressed). The owner is so kind and welcoming. It’s very small but that’s what makes it special. Forever a favourite of mine. Side bar - if you love The Keg, you may not love The Roost.

I visited The Roost yesterday (August 29th) with two friends and had a very disappointing experience with the service. Our server consistently ignored me throughout the evening and only directed questions to my two friends. Each time he came to the table, he asked them if they wanted anything but never once asked me. Because of this, my two friends ended up ordering food while I wasn’t even given the chance.
It wasn’t just me who noticed this — my friends pointed it out during the night and even mentioned it to me, wondering why the server was acting that way. This went on the entire evening and left me feeling completely overlooked.
This was my first time visiting The Roost, and unfortunately it will also be my last. Based on the way I was treated. I don’t recommend this place, their service is terrible.

We had Scottie as our server and she made my experience amazing! I own restaurants in Ontario, so I super appreciate fantastic food and phenomenal service. She went above and beyond in helping me chose the perfect food and cocktails. She also put a list of cool spots to visit while I am visiting in Winnipeg. Overall loved the restaurant and the quaint intimate experience. Fabulous place, highly recommend.
