Love the vibe at this bar. Super chill and relaxing. It’s a perfect place to just sit down peacefully and chat one on one. Good atmosphere, good drinks, good time. Definitely give it a try if you’re in the area.

Quirky little spot on Corydon- hope one day they will make a bigger location (especially during winter as space is limited). Amazing cocktails (worth the price) and the food is always tasty.

If I could only pick one cocktail lounge to go to in Winnipeg, it would be the Roost. They have been awesome for years. The environment, drinks, staff and food - it's all 5 stars.

Snuck in for a late Sunday last call and we’re so happy we were recommended this spot! Gracie whipped us up two rounds of NA mocktails and had some solid chats! Super funky spot - i bet it pops off in the summer!Cheers - thanks for making our Sunday great! We will be back whenever we’re in YEG ✨?

My boyfriend and I absolutely love an impromptu evening out at The Roost. During the summer: there are no reservations but they have a waitlist system, that seems to never take longer than 45 minutes on a Friday night! The Bathtub Gin is our favourite?

We came around 7:30pm on a Saturday and got a table right away, we usually have to wait a bit because they fill up quite quickly. The restaurant soon filled and the staff all worked so hard to ensure we were checked on, the Laura Palmer was delicious as usual, and we finished our night with the amazing ice cream cake. My friend and I come here together all the time when she is in the city and we will continue to choose to come here due to your amazing staff and your chefs consistent skills. Thank you!Vegetarian options: So many items are vegan or vegetarianDietary restrictions: I have a dairy allergy and my friend is vegan and we always have so many options to eat here.

Discovered this gem of a place after a disappointing experience at another restaurant earlier in the evening. What can I say ? Awesome rooftop funky dining experience with cool beverages and funky food ! The food was delicious, they were out of a few things on the menu but I suspect that is only because it was so delicious!! Need to prepare better! Anyway I’m not going to beat up the food , it was Awesome and the 3 stars is just because of the items sold out and the presentation could have matched the environment better in a clean funky kinda way. It was a solid experience all around and no disrespect to the kitchen in any way !! The service was fantastic, the whole atmosphere was a breath of fresh air for Winnipeg!! Wish I’d discovered it sooner but definitely recommend and will be returning! Good vibes, good food, good people!

I went here for drinks and food with a friend on a Friday after work in the summer. The patio was nicely decorated and quite beautiful, especially being a floor up from Corydon gives you a bit of a break from the street noise. The food wasn't great though for me. It just wasn't as flavorful or seasoned as I had hoped, which was disappointing given the prices. Maybe it was just an off night or what I ordered, as I've generally heard good things about this place. And our server was fairly disengaged. But the patio, as I've said, looked quite nice. The menus are a copy of something hand drawn (in a good way, very cozy and familiar) and there is a hip trendy vibe here if that's your thing.
