I was quite happy with this place. Ordered delivery on Christmas day so maybe they were heavy on their portions for sad sacks like me. Good amount of meat and Veg and nice smoke flavours - not too much msg (which is fine and safe by the way). Definitely not a 4 star, but probably not a perfect 5, more like a 4.3 to 4.7. Definitely worth your money, support them.

After trying many Chinese food restaurants in Winnipeg over the last year, this one is the best! Our favourite dishes included the Cantonese Chow Mein with a good portion of protein and vegetables and the Breaded Shrimp which were very lightly battered with large pieces of shrimp. The staff is also very friendly!

Outstanding experience with take out from Thirsty Duck. The food was absolutely delicious, not one single item was overly breaded allowing the flavours and textures to shine through. The fresh ingredients and care of cooking come to mind when tasting the food. The service was fast and efficient where we didn’t have to wait long. Ordering ahead of time can help expedite your order when it’s a busy day. This is a must have fantastic Chinese food here is Winnipeg.
Order here before and tonight we received our order and the shrimp was bad and the ginger beef was not edible. I will not order from this restaurant moving forward. Very disappointed, spending over 100 dollars for food and 2 of the dishes were not

This place is VERY VERY BAD. i cannot express how bad the quality of the food was. the chicken was so dry and bland. the prices are so not worth the bs!!!!! i do not recommend this place AT ALL. CHINESE FOOD FROM THE MALL IS BETTER THAN THIS!! do NOT go to thirsty duck.
