Outstanding experience with take out from Thirsty Duck. The food was absolutely delicious, not one single item was overly breaded allowing the flavours and textures to shine through. The fresh ingredients and care of cooking come to mind when tasting the food. The service was fast and efficient where we didn’t have to wait long. Ordering ahead of time can help expedite your order when it’s a busy day. This is a must have fantastic Chinese food here is Winnipeg.
Order here before and tonight we received our order and the shrimp was bad and the ginger beef was not edible. I will not order from this restaurant moving forward. Very disappointed, spending over 100 dollars for food and 2 of the dishes were not

This place is VERY VERY BAD. i cannot express how bad the quality of the food was. the chicken was so dry and bland. the prices are so not worth the bs!!!!! i do not recommend this place AT ALL. CHINESE FOOD FROM THE MALL IS BETTER THAN THIS!! do NOT go to thirsty duck.

Great prices ! And the food is great! Honestly, some Chinese food places are so over priced for nothing special. However, this place is great and they are easy to order from! I love the Shanghai noodles and the king pao chicken and the ginger beef is sooo good! I recommend everyone ! You won’t regret it.
Thirsty duck has consistently good food. Their chow mein is the best, I prefer plain chow mein and plain fried rice as there's never enough meat included to justify the added cost and the taste is just the same.I have recommended to friends and friends enjoy their food as much as I do, when they come to visit they're always wanting to order thirsty duck!

I tried the Thirsty Duck for the first time after having seen a few recommendations on the East K & Elmwood Community Facebook group and will most certainly be going back again.I ordered directly from their website and picked it up myself.#75 Singapore Fried Rice Noodle- Good size portion w/ lots of pork, shrimp, veggies, and a very nice curry flavour#94 Lemon Battered Chicken- Again, great portion size with large pieces of chicken and a very tasty and tangy lemon sauce that comes on the side. The chicken to batter ratio was excellent, unlike some other places with little chicken and too much batter. The batter was nice and crispy.#150 Deluxe Diced Veggies with Almonds- Large portion with lots of chicken and almonds. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, still firm, and the gravy was rich and full of flavour.#56 Chicken Fried Rice (Free with over over $35)- The rice appeared quite dark so I was a little concerned that it would be salty from too much soy but it was not. There was plenty of chicken and was very good.An overall excellent value for the portion sizes and quality of the food.
