I received another lukewarm latte to go from a barista who, although stunning in appearance, seemed to have missed the mark when it came to my one simple request for an extra hot drink to go. The pre-tip option is typically a scam here and patrons leave a generous tip pre-product consumption. I tipped the barista $4.00 on top of the $7.00 latte price for a more cold than warm latte once again. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Terrible coffee and the staff behave with inferiority. The $7 piece of strawberry butter cream cake I bought was tasteless with three tiny strawberry segments sprinkled in the middle. Cheap

Love coming to Thom Bargen! I work downtown and like going for walks before work. Visiting this coffee shop is one of the highlights of my week! Great coffee and hot drink menu, plus a great selection of baked goods. If you’re looking for a new coffee spot, they won’t disappoint!

I thought this place would become my favorite coffee shop near home, but I was completely disappointed. Cappuccino was prepared as if from sour milk, in the coffee shop it is impossible to sit and read, or work, or meet to talk, because the music is playing so loudly that you cannot hear your thoughts (that is probably why the coffee shop was empty of visitors and everyone comes to take coffee and leave), 15 minutes was enough for me just to swallow my coffee and leave quickly. And finally, they didn't even pay attention to me when I thanked and said goodbye.

So glad the downtown location has opened again. I used to go here a lot when I worked downtown a few years back. Finally got the chance to stop by and the atmosphere and vibes at this location is still amazing. Also, TB probably has the best beans in the city. Their espresso is amazing and addicting.

Love having this downtown, their service is excellent. I clumsily dropped a scone earlier today and they gave me a new one. Coffee is a unique blend and I understand that not everyone will enjoy it, but I do. Their matcha lattes are excellent, there is a bit of a spice mix to it that I absolutely love. I wish they were open later for the occasional after work coffee stop.

To start I really like TB’s Corydon location in Winnipeg. But in the last couple of weeks their Mocha Latte has been brutal, like they forgot the mocha. I also frequent Little Sister, who’s mochas are a touch better and who make always make their drinks bang on. Shouldn’t be a hard thing to get right all the time??

This is the best coffee spot in all of Winnipeg and you can’t change my mind. For the last 2 years I’ve been on the hunt to find the best cappuccino in all of Manitoba. I rate it off of three things,1) Consistency. Tastes the same every. Single… Time..they have a rotation of baristas and they all make the perfect drink every time.2) Price. Extremely reasonable.3) Flavour. It’s smooth, tasteful, creamy and everything what you want in the perfect espresso.Aside from the perfect cappuccino, they offer a variety of crafted drinks and fresh baked goods both with seasonal ingredients. My partner who does not drink coffee enjoys their London fog, he would say it’s best in the city as well.Although I have never dined it, I am sure it’s great. Variety of seating options, creative cues, greenery, tasteful music and the sweet smell of baking. Please do me a favour, and stop by Thom Bargen next time you are in the area.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian savoury pastriesDietary restrictions: Dairy alternativesParking: I take the bus and stop here in-between my transfers, main hub for big transfers it’s great. Included photos of what’s available.

Bring your noise cancelling earphones. The music is always ridiculously loud and gives off club vibes at times. Not a good place to study, read a book, or chat with a friend.

Amazing coffee, great vibes. The scone had a harder exterior shell, akin to my childhood, which was a little bit of a damper.

Great coffee and nice atmosphere. Terrible service though. My staff got me a gift cert -- and I visited on 5 occasions -- often waiting 10-15 mins to serve just a few customers in front of me. Staff seem daft or didn't care when frustrated people left the line and got coffee elsewhere (saw this multiple times)
