I love a diner! I remember my Mom loving this place for their hot dogs. This place is really old school, with an interior that seems to be from the past and the present at the same time. We had burgers and fries. It was pretty standard diner fare (frozen patties, bagged frozen fries), and it was fine. It's just a fun place to eat!
I ordered a Rueben sandwich ? and it was awful. The size was so small and not worth the price I paid. The fries was hard and overcooked. Very disappointed ?. Also the lady has such poor English. I couldn't understand a word she said.
well, I have driven by this restaurant many times that I’ve always liked the well-worn drive-in look so today I decided to go in and order takeout. I had the bacon and cheese hotdog. Like most hotdogs in Winnipeg, it had chilli and onions and the usual toppings, but this one also came with lettuce and tomato on top of it. It was absolutely delicious. The chili was really good. Just the right amount of tang to it and yet not very spicy. The wiener was perfect with the right “snap”....
