I had the pleasure of dining at Thyme Cafe and Books today, and it was a truly delightful experience! The menu boasted an impressive array of vegan options, which was a lovely surprise. I opted for a sandwich and salad, both of which were incredibly fresh and flavorful.
The owner's warm hospitality made the experience even more special. They offered complimentary pastry samples to all patrons, which added a lovely touch to the visit.
The atmosphere of the cafe was serene, cute, and cozy – the perfect setting to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. I highly recommend Thyme Cafe and Books to anyone seeking a welcoming spot with tasty, plant-based options. Five stars, without a doubt!
Southern fried tofu sandwich on gluten free bread is incredible!
Funky little book store cafe with decent vegetarian options. I liked my food, but my daughter didn't. Service was fine.
Small, welcoming café with shelves of plants and old books, surfacing memories and feelings of art school. I had the Breakfast Thyme, and it perfectly hit the spot - delicious.
Amazing fresh vegan food and some of the best coffee you'll find in Winnipeg. Really great collection of interesting used books that surround their cozy sitting area. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. All around great vibes.
Great burger. Well worth a visit. Try the tofu too.
Excellent family-owned and operated cafe and bookstore with a chill, cozy vibe. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options abound.
Cute little hole in the wall Cafe/Used Bookstore.
Southern-Fried Tofu sandwich, need I say more? I will! Caesar salad, mushroom soup, sweets, coffees, actually anything off the menu. I fully support their family friendly hours and holiday closures as they always give a heads up so it's a good idea to call ahead and plan accordingly. Although I usually take out, dining in is laid back and easygoing. Owners are super friendly and food is on point every time.
I’ve been a fan since the days of Mondragon. The food here is excellent and very flavourful. Love the Dragon bowl and the twister! #Veganuary

The Quinoa almond “Feta” bowl is really good! Have ordered it a number of times. The combo of the tangy dressing with the almond feta really brings out the flavour of the dish. Definitely a healthy lunch choice. Would highly recommend.
What a wonderful little café, I had such a wonderful time here! I had the samosas, which were delicious, along with a iced matcha with soy milk! The staff were so nice and friendly, I liked the whole feel of this little shop! I do have to say that tge music was a little loud for me but other then that I had a great time!
