My favorite cafe in the city! Always fresh, homemade food and amazing beverages, made with love by lovely people. Super relaxing atmosphere, walls and walls of books of all kinds. I've been a regular there for about 2 years so far, feeling uplifted and satisfied with every visit.

I didn't have time to leave a more detailed review sooner so just want to circle back and share how lovely this place is. Out of all the cafes I visited during my time in Winnipeg, Thyme was hands down the best. The environment is welcoming and cozy, the people working are friendly and the food and drinks are amaaazing.

First time here and LOVED it! The food was amazing! Loved the GF options - so tasty! It's tiny so you may have to wait for a table (it's worth the wait) or take out.

A hidden gem steps from the bustle of Marion & Taché. A peaceful, intimate refuge with delicious soup, friendly service and great coffee.

Amazing amazing food! Tons of gluten free / vegan options. Can’t beat the prices. I’m a big fan of it all, even their bookstore is thoughtful.

Kicked me out just because I was studying even though there was no one else in the store. A shame since the atmosphere was pleasant.

I had the pleasure of dining at Thyme Cafe and Books today, and it was a truly delightful experience! The menu boasted an impressive array of vegan options, which was a lovely surprise. I opted for a sandwich and salad, both of which were incredibly fresh and flavorful.

The owner's warm hospitality made the experience even more special. They offered complimentary pastry samples to all patrons, which added a lovely touch to the visit.

The atmosphere of the cafe was serene, cute, and cozy – the perfect setting to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. I highly recommend Thyme Cafe and Books to anyone seeking a welcoming spot with tasty, plant-based options. Five stars, without a doubt!

Funky little book store cafe with decent vegetarian options. I liked my food, but my daughter didn't. Service was fine.
