I was looking for a place to play pool where they do not have vlts because I cannot stand the sound of those vlts and so I was able to go to the toad and play a few games of pool with my shiny new cue and the staff was friendly. The place was quiet because there was not many people as their pub is different. It's old school and it's meant to be old school because most pubs are noisy and full of ridiculous 19 year olds, this is a place where you go with your grown up friends. It's meant for people who are nostalgic about ambiance and character

I was a fan of the old bar, this place really sucks now. It would have taken me 30 minutes to get a drink. My friend was given a whiskey sour with little to no whiskey. This isn't a bar anymore.

We had our wedding reception round the Pub, and were blown away!! Not only the service, or atmosphere, but the whole experience. It was operated so smoothly, and with so much support! Cannot recommend the Toad enough for large gatherings, or just a night by the fire place!!!
