The food was really pretty good, the beer selection was great. The place feels a bit grungy and the two old drunk blokes were not the best advert. Service staff were very good for a bar.
As a lover of Reubens who has to try it out whenever I go somewhere new, I found this offering to be average at best. Quantity of meat, sauerkraut and sauce were lacking while the size was on the smaller side of average and the bread was unexceptional.Luckily the Erdinger Weissbier did not disappoint and I found the atmosphere to be quaint and charming during my lunch time visit, while the service was attentive.

Cannot recommend the Toad enough for large gatherings, or just a night by the fire place!!!
