It has been a few years since my husband and I have been to Tropikis. We used to really enjoy the Roti and service. We went today and ordered 1 beef and 1 chicken Roti so we could share. We were asked how spicy we wanted it and we said none (we know it is added during the construction of it).Not only was it cold but was full of pepper!!We could not even enjoy our $45 worth of Roti.I could have been upset with the little amount of meat or the lack of a side. But no, instead it became inedible. We sadly will never return again. Now I have to go cook for my hungry husband…choops ….!

Dietary restrictions: Pepper sauce bad for Ulcers.

The food is great. There are no words to describe it. The lady, possibly the owner, was exceptionally friendly and proud of the dishes prepared by the restaurant chef. However, they need better plates and cutlery to match their high-quality food. Paper plates? Please, that's unacceptable.

The host at the front counter was friendly, amazing and pleasant. She even gave me a free salad to try with my meal. Although I did not want a salad, she was insistant that i try it. I am thankfull as it was the only thing that was eatable in the end. I told her I judged all caribean restaurant by the quality of the oxtail. The oxtail i was seved was by far the worst I have ever eaten. It was solid rubber, I could not event cut it with a knife much less chew it.she told me the chef cooked it for 2 days. Either he forgot to turn the stove on, or does not have a pressure cooker in the back. The oxtail was served with a coconut and red pea gravy? vs. Lima bean in a true oxtail sauce. The rice &peas had chunks of carrots in the same coconut flavor making both dishes bland and acidic. You could not taste one from the other. I was truly disappointed as I was looking forward to a good meal. Now I am sitting on the toilet with a belly ache writing this review. $30 down the drain. TROPIX YOU NEED TO DO BETTER!

Parking: 3 spots at the back. Lots of parking on the road

Salad is 5/5. Oxtail is 1/5 - way too chewy that it tastes like a “quick cook”. Service is 1/5 - Unsolicited “advice” from the waitress. Atmosphere is great. Will not be

Amazing rotis, love the wraps, very filling! We tried the goat, the elk and the chicken. Each protein is spiced an flavoured distinctly to match and enhance the meat. This place has been around for many years and has a loyal following.

I had the half chicken and beef roti. The food was very good. The beef was very tender and full of flavor. The lady taking the order was very nice.
