Umi Sushi looks tidy and no-nonsense from the outside — warm light, clean counter, small dining room that says they keep it daily and honest. Walked in expecting convenience, got decent, straightforward fare: nothing flashy, just reliable. Quick service, good for a grab-and-go or a casual bite — not a destination, but it does the job. One bite: fine.

Phenomenal sushi so big it will challenge even the most seasoned of chopstick users, cute pokemon socks on display to buy too and miso soup on the side to cure you of the pollutants winnipeg is infested with. Lovely little spot

Vegetarian options: They have a variety of vegetarian options and they can accommodate your preferred choice. The employees there are always very friendly, helpful and ready to serve you! I have only had the ready-made take-out to go trays which are very organized, nicely packed and all tasty and delicious. This little restaurant does not disappoint and I would recommend picking up from here even if you just want a quick healthy snack. The food here definitely satisfies the hunger pangs!
Pretty good sushi. Tasty but the rice was a bit dry. Could be because I got sushi from the take out counter? I will be back for a sit down meal to give this place another chance.
