It's a really an aesthetic cafe in downtown.....one of my favorites.

Tis the season for fall drinks. This pumpkin spice latte warmed my soul, so delicious! (Not featured in the photos was their ham and cheese panini.)

I guess at VA Cafe you don’t just order drinks anymore as you have to pass the barista’s personal approval test first. My friend asked for a mint latte and the response we got was an “ew” followed by a flat-out refusal to make it. Super professional, right?

When I ordered an iced latte, I was given a hot one instead. It felt like she didn’t care at all about customer service. I’ve been coming here regularly to study with friends, but this kind of treatment is unacceptable. The barista before (Shaun) never had an issue making the same drink, now it’s just rudeness and incompetence.

This place used to be welcoming, but with service like this, it’s not worth coming back.

I was there on Sunday around 4:50 PM. I knew the cafe was closing in 10 minutes, but I wasn’t planning to stay. I was just meeting a friend and grabbing a takeaway drink. But the girl working there had such an off attitude that it made me really uncomfortable.

When I first asked if I could order, she literally ignored me. I had to ask again and then said, “Yes, you can, but you can’t stay.” I told her I wasn’t planning to, I just want a drink to go. She was rude and seemed really annoyed for no reason.

I’ve worked in service before and I totally get how it feels when someone comes in right before closing. But that’s still no excuse for being rude

Nicely made cappuccino. Cortado isn't bad either. Can get busy at times. Overall inviting.

Lots of seating. Very unique warehouse setting but still has a variety of sitting nooks to have your cozy conversations.
Parking can be tough at certain times in the area.

Surprisingly big cafe for a place in Exchange. It's a really nice vibe, very cozy and calm, perfect to do some work or have a hot drink with someone and chat. We tried the oat milk chai latte and a hot chocolate, as well as a vegan bagel, all of which were absolutely de-licious !! Definitely will go back. Also, amazing service by a very friendly staff person :)
