A few of the first reasons I love this place don’t even have to do with the food. The venue is old and has character. It’s simple and basic and it reminds me of small town diner or the air of grandma’s rural house. I believe this is family owned too, so local business is also a plus.

I backpacked SE Asia for 5 months many years ago, so I appreciate this style of cooking. Too many years to recall how closely the food matches being there in person, but it is tasty and affordable here. My curry was a wow. I loved it. That might be bias to some nostalgia of my travel days, but I really liked it. Service is warm and friendly. I would very much encourage supporting this local modest venue, it is well worth the food and experience.

Absolutely delicious food. Super fresh, big portions and very reasonable prices. The stuffed wings are a must and my fav is the Kua sen Ron. Servers are very kind and prompt. I had never really had this type of food before and now I’m in love lol.

I had the shrimp rolls. I will say it’s the best I’ve had. It’s crispy and the sauce tastes heavenly!

This one of my favourite restaurants. Great food for sure.

The Kao Peak soup is amazingly delicious! Which l normally order all the time but this time the noodles are different and a bit thinner then usual which l’m disappointed in.

I hope that they will bring back the thicker noodles sizes.

We’ve only ever gotten takeaway, but our family absolutely loves this place. The spice levels are great and great portions. I get the panang curry, wifey gets green curry. The coconut soup is awesome, and the crab rancoons are epic. 100% you gotta try this place

The food was great and so was the service. The food came out quickly so we weren't waiting for too long. This family owned business is a must try!

Food was excellent and very good value. They are currently dealing with major road construction in front of their business but it’s worth the trip.

This is my go-to place for Lao/Thai food! Crab rangoons and the papaya salad are always a must for me. Love the Kao Peak on a rainy day. I’d also recommend the boneless fried chicken and fried rice and the beef pad thai. Lovely atmosphere, friendly/helpful staff and the food is inexpensive for the huge portions.

This small restaurant hidden behind the current construction was well worth the 25 minute drive. I have eaten enough Thai food in my lifetime and can confirm I would go back to have my tastebuds be in Thailand again.

The chicken pad Thai is the best I’ve ever had. The spicy cashew with beef is delicious and so is the sesame chicken. The ginger tea hits different here. Such a cozy and cute hidden gem in the old st vital area. I’m a local and I’ll walk over when I’m craving some Thai 😋
