Wako Sushi Cafe Reviews
Worse sushi ever and owner is very rude.
Wako is great Sushi at great prices. Been going for a bunch of years now. Tempura Veggies a Fav! If you want Pick-up, Order 15 to 20 minutes before going is best. Parking out front on corydon is not allowed weekdays 3:30pm to 5:30pm, other than that there is almost always parking out front.

Wako Sushi Cafe is a hidden gem in Winnipeg, offering delicious and quality sushi at reasonable prices. Despite being a small hole-in-the-wall place with limited dine-in options, their takeout service comes highly recommended. The food is consistently fresh, prepared perfectly and delicious. The "Maki Lover" combo is a popular choice, providing a variety of rolls at a discounted price, and the salmon lovers roll is absolutely fantastic. Many customers consider this one of the best sushi places in the city, especially praising their deep-fried sushi, which is unique in Winnipeg. The restaurant is known for super affordable sushi, like the $4 maki rolls and affordable platters like the maki lover tray. Although inside dining is not available, customers enjoy taking their food to nearby parks. While the service is pretty rough and the staff can be extremely rude and unprofessional, the sushi is actually really good. Overall, Wako Sushi Cafe is a budget-friendly spot that offers great-tasting sushi, making days better with its amazing dishes.
