I heard online that they opened a second location on regent in transcona and it is just as good. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to try something new

Everyone reasonable agrees that Watt St. Bistro is the best Vietnamese food for the price, but I assert that it is the best restaurant in Winnipeg, period!

As a former Winnipegger who spent most of my life in East Kildonan, I moved to Surrey in 2005. I remember Watt Street Bistro from back then, though I never visited—mainly because, to be honest, the exterior didn’t look particularly inviting at the time. Of course, that was before the days of Google reviews or any online review platforms.
I’ve been back in town since last week visiting my parents, and tonight my mom brought home an incredible Pad Thai. It was not greasy, full of flavor, and generously loaded with beef, chicken, and prawns. I immediately had to ask where it came from and was genuinely surprised when she said Watt Street Bistro. Wow—kudos to your team!
As a longtime Thai food enthusiast who’s dined at some of the top Thai restaurants in Metro Vancouver, I can confidently say this Pad Thai was absolutely on par with the best of them.

I had the Chicken Curry Coconut Noodle Soup and it was delicious! I ordered a regular portion which was very generous so now I have lunch for tomorrow too! Highly recommended.

Used to love this place. Not sure if it’s under new management but it’s gone downhill and also gotten very expensive. Had the beef Vietnamese sub tonight for like 15 bucks and it wouldn’t feed a fly. Two thin pieces of sugary beef and lettuce in a bun. That’s it. After so many years we won’t be back. Huge disappointed

For my first time dining in (I regularly order online) the space was wonderful. Gentle music and lots of natural light. I sat down for lunch and within a few minutes of ordering my food came out. It’s delicious. Highly recommend the deluxe vermicelli!!

We are so happy we found this restaurant 😍. In the last month we have gone 3 times. GREAT food, good prices, and we feel very relaxed when we go. I love the coconut chicken curry soup. YUMMMMMMM.

Fantastic food, and exceptional service. The service is spot on. Everyone on the phone is lively to speak with and the service is quick. I was greeted this evening at the door by one gentlemen and he was so lovely. Whoever is the owner you have hired very well. We have really enjoyed all our meals we have had for take out this evening. The food is wonderfully tasty, healthy, fresh and Consistent and well as well priced. Will be going back a lot now!!
