White Star diner is the best! We go there regularly and it’s always delicious. They had a Halloween special today called the Monster Burger, and as amazing as it looked, it tasted even better! But even if that special is over, they have so many other great things - poutines, burgers, and a huge selection of milkshakes, to name just a few. This place definitely needs to be on anyone’s “Must Visit Burger Places In Winnipeg” list!

I loved this place! I went for the retro diner decor but I was bowled over by the service and the food. The servers were lovely, smiling and kind each time they approached my table, but they were never intrusive. The food was amazing - large portions and very yummy. It was not busy when I went (a Friday around 1pm). With my root beer float added to the bill, the total was more than I would normally spend for lunch, but it was worth every penny! I will be going back every time I'm in Winnipeg.

I love it here, the portion sizes are massive, so it’s enough for me and a friend to share but i think what truly shines are the milkshakes. I feel like this is one of the only places in the city that has an apple pie milkshake that tastes so fresh and yummy!!!

Stopped in for dinner…fantastic food and wonderful owners!! Had the Reuben with coleslaw…so good! My husband had the double oink burger with fries…amazing as well (we always split our meals half and half so we can try different things). Finished it off with a peanut butter caramilk milkshake…waddled outta there super satisfied.
