Zero Stars! My husband and I took my Mom out to Wok N Roll. It was so dark in there and we were the only people in the restaurant. I did not have a good feeling about it. I should of went with my gut feeling but it isn't easy transporting my elderly Mom so we stayed. The consume soup was terrible but the noodles that were in the soup tasted like chemical to me. The oil must be very old and it made it taste like the food was bad. We tried the fried rice and it wasn't very good either. Then nothing came out for the longest time. The egg roll had some black stuff in them and I wasn't sure what was in them so we didn't eat them. We ordered the dinner for 4 so we had many dishes. The lemon chicken batter was raw and the chicken was overdone. We didn't want to be there any longer so we asked for take out containers. The lady brought out the containers but they felt slimy. That was the end of it. We left all the dished on the table and left. We didn't even taste the shrimp or chow mien dish. My husband told her that we didn't enjoy the food and she still charged us $60.00. Save your money and find another place. Will never go back again.

Arrived here at 12pm for the lunch buffet to find i was the only patron in the restraunt. Lights were off and nobody to be seen. Eventually was sat, no ladels or tongs out for the trays, upom sitting down with my food i noticed a disgusting long hair in it. The food was bland probably had been a day or two old. Was dry and crusty. I was questioning how safe this place was my entire meal. Do not reccomend going here, will not return.

Food used to be good but not anymore.Very greasy, tasteless, had some bugs in my fried rice and was told it was from the wok, served expired can drinks with the date black markered out.Dining area needs to be cleaned salt and pepper shakers and soya sauce bottles extremely dirty.I wished I went to Subway next door.I WOULD HAVE GIVEN ZERO STARS IF I COULD.IF YOU WANT EXCELLENT CHINESE FOOD GO TO FORTUNE COOKING ON ELLICE AVE AND ST. JAMES BY THE BRICK.

Sign said open, I walked in to a dark dining room, only light was over the pay station. A man with no English was just sitting in the dark. I asked if they were open and he seemed very angry so I was going to leave a a woman comes out of the kitchen and said they're open what do I want. I said one order of hot and sour soup. She said ok, yelled at the man who yelled back at her but went to the kitchen to make my soup in assuming...needless to say I paid for a bowl of almost straight up vinegar with unrecognizable substance, not chicken or tofu or veggies or mushrooms, in fact it looked like a bowl of chicken skin and earthworms?never ever going back!

Chicken Satay was a stir fry of green pepper and onion with a few carrots. Maybe a few bits of what was small diced chicken and tastless sauce .Dry ribs were all coating little meat inside had rancid grease taste. Crispy chicken with ginger was cut up bone in legs and thighs fried with skin on not crisp at all. The teaspoon of sauce in bottom of container was tasteless no ginger. Egg rolls were frozen not made in house. Mixed veg was all broccoli with two carrot slices. Comsume like brown water. Sticky rice had bad flavour of some bottled teriaky sauce and was wrapped in a stale banana leaf. All food flavourless got a refund from the delivery service when I complained.

Never ordering from here again. The beef and mixed vegetables were mostly onions. Hardly any beef at all. The "chicken" was just over fried breading, not even edible and the "sauce" was so thin it made the bottom of the "sesame chicken" soggy while the top was too hard to even eat. The mushroom fried rice tasted like their soya sauce went bad. The shark fin dumplings were all torn up and what I did manage to eat gave me an upset stomach for the rest of the night. Threw the rest of it in the garbage. I'm going to call for a refund tomorrow but I'm doubtful considering the rest of the reviews. Really disappointing. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE unless you like feeling sick.

Absolutely tasteless food - Lacked salt, lacked flavour. The chicken with cashews that we ordered was filled with carrots, celery, and hardly any chicken or cashews (whatever amount of chicken there was, it was literally like tiny chunks). Anyway, I had a bad food experience after a long time and I’m definitely never ordering from this place again!

A staff showed me bad attitude, impatience over credit card transaction.1.She did not know how to accept a non-chip credit card with her own PoS terminal, she did not listen to me while I TOLD her to swipe, she inserted my card into the chip-reader slot then got lost. I had to show her how to swipe the magnetic strip through.2.As my credit card is non-Canadian, her PoS prompted to choose between CAD and my base currency, she did NOT TRY TO UNDERSTAND.She then patientlessly asked, "why is that everytime appear?"I had to swipe my card a THIRD TIME then chose the currency option myself.Do I have to teach her English language and tell her how to read the PoS? How is this person able to run a business in Canada if she NEVER LEARNS?

We were there in 35 minutest. when we got home we discovered Cantonese Chow mein nooodles were on top and rock hard. inedible. we had to nuke it. Called and asked. Lady said this is how they make it. we have orders here before and noodles are always on bottom. Cauliflower in soup had black on it. Spring rolls were cold. Deluxe won ton was cold. Shrimp was chewy and hard. ginger beef was chewy and bland. we asked for extra broccoli and did not receive. the lemon chicken wasn't bad. but it wasn't warm either. Terrible terrible terrible.

Food with lukewarm when Skipthedishes was waiting 5mins to get the order, Singapore Style Vermicelli inedible. How to confirm deep fried wontons had meat in it, before I purchased it was told that it did and just came with just deep fried wonton wrappers instead of actual wontons.

Terrible food. $60 for nothing!! The noodles were hard, out shrimp tasted old & expired or left out, the pork was completely fatty & uncooked... when we called to tell them about our food, the woman bullied us. Her words “try food it’s good, all you say is our food badddd” she continued trying to convince us their food is “good” instead of listening to us explain AND as we explained to them as well, this is our first AND ONLY time trying this place. Please don’t waste your time and money on this rude and disgusting place.

We really enjoyed wonderful Chinese food at this restaurant in the past and came here very often. Then----one day stopped in and found the atmosphere was quite different. Did some research and found that ownership had changed Nonetheless we ordered our usual takeout at a cost of around $48.00. When we arrived at home and took out the individual packages of food we found that the order had a really bad smell. Tried the chicken chow mien and it was awful. As I was trying to sample that, something sharp got stuck in my gum area. Upon further investigation I discovered that it was a piece of wire from I believe was a wire brush. Lemon chicken was hard like shoe leather and the fried shrimp was 90 percent of hard batter.Ended up throwing the whole in the garbage. Advice--Do not go there.
