First of all I will talk about a very beautiful place where it is a lot of fun to sit and the food here is very tasty and there is a relaxed atmosphere where it feels good to feel yourself.

Went here during Grey Cup weekend and it was a mediocre experience. Classic tavern/pub vibes being very loud and kinda messy. They were not ready for the influx of football fans. Food was fine, nothing exceptional but they were out of so many items on their menu it was annoying. They also forgot a couple items. Beer was good though.

I'm from Saskatoon. A couple years ago, I was going to a show at the Burt with a friend who took me here. It was all the right things, so I went back again on my own, the next time I was in town for a show.
It's always busy on show nights. I had a broken leg (still do!) and I didn't want to sit on a high stool. Despite the crowd, space was made for me at a regular table.
Service was fast and friendly. I didn't feel rushed to finish and make room for other patrons. The food was tasty and it was a large portion.
The bathrooms deserve a mention as they are very large, accessible, and clean.
It's a great spot for pub food downtown, whether you're on your way to a show or not.
Excellent vibes and service!! Great prices, yellow dog platter is very strongly recommended!!!

Must have caught them on an off day...poor to sub standards services, beer selection very tight and my IPA came out warm and chicken was burnt .

As someone who comes from a family that eats nothing but ripple chips and onion dip I only wish there were more side options. The salads are excellent though! No slimy, sour tomatoes.
