I can't express how good the food and atmosphere is here, but wow what a delightful surprise in this lovely neighbourhood. Yen is an S-Tier chef, and has a heart of gold that will joyfully interact with any patron in or out of his establishment.
I will from now on only come here for drinks (both mixed and canned beers) and the out of the park food that is clearly hand made with care and love.

Visited the restaurant as a group of 4. The man who served us (probably the owner too) was very kind. It seemed like he runs everything there, or at least for that night. The food felt authentic and portions were huge! I liked the cucumber water. Well worth the money. Greetings from Israel!

Some of the most legit gumbo you'll ever have in your life. It's a quirky spot, in a good way. Clearly the owner is friends with the regulars, but this is more a pro than a con. It is welcoming, and a great place for a conversation. There's something wonderfully casual about the place. You won't be fussed over, but it's weirdly accommodating to both privacy and extroverted interaction.
