It's amazing and authentic. My grandparents and I go here often! Their lunch specials are amazing and the quality of their sashimi is top notch.Update! They've renovated and it's totally different. It's for sure more expensive than before, but the quality somehow got even better. It's truly one of the highest quality meals you can get in Winnipeg.

I love going there to eat, I am never disappointed in the flavouts and quality of the dishes. It has been a while though so I was surprised by the new look. I had a sunomo salad with crab, o-toro nigiri (fatty blue fin tuna) (pic has the maki also), Sendai roll (pic) and the saburo maki. And drank a small sake. With tips was close to 100$. The Sendai roll was big and warm. Very good. I was full and had a hard time finishing it.Parking: Small parking lot but you can park in streets.

The crew and the chef's are for real. Was hesitant to try the dessert, but after trying, it gives off a distinct flavor. Foods are not by the volume but they are quality. I'd be coming back to try all of their menu. ?Parking: Parking are plenty and free.

Love the new renovations! One of the best sushi spots in Winnipeg in my opinion.

The staff exhibited an unfriendly demeanor and their behavior seemed tinged with racism. I perceived distinct differential treatment towards customers of varying ethnic backgrounds.Frankly, that restaurant is far from extraordinary. (Having been born in Asia and visited Japan five times, trust me, if you've dined at Japanese restaurants elsewhere, you'll deeply regret spending a penny there.)The most egregious aspect is the pretentious attitude of the staff and chef, as if they were working in a three-star Michelin establishment. As you stand waiting to be seated, no one spares you a glance, leaving you feeling utterly humiliated. In summary, they've failed to grasp the essence of Japanese cuisine, opting instead to adopt detrimental habits.

After visiting this restaurant I had only positive impressions. The presentation of the rolls is excellent and they taste great. In this establishment you can try not banal cucumber rolls, but experience interesting tastes and discover a new palette of combinations of familiar and unfamiliar ingredients. The service staff is caring and friendly. The price corresponds to the level of the establishment. I sincerely recommend it❤️.

This is always our go to Ramen place in the past 8yrs, but recently after the renovation the Champon ramen is not as good as the Seafood ramen they used to served before. We eat here 6 to 10 times a year so I know how all the ramen taste like. The ramen portion went a little bit smaller but I don’t mind because I am more looking into the flavor and presentation. I hope Chef Ed Lam will revisit the ramens soup recipe again. We’ll go to Chef Ed’s Gaijin Izakaya today to see if the ramens were still good as before.

Great food but the prices keep going up, it’s getting really expensive. I order less than I used too and still cost more.

What a gem of a restaurant we discovered by fluke on our way to the airport. We had a short turn-around time before our flight out and Yujiro staff made it happen. The quality of offerings is fantastic and servers were wonderful. We look forward to spending a nice evening here the next time we’re in town.

Tables way too close together. Awkward to hear other tables conversations. Probably won’t be back for dinner. Too bad because food is excellent!

My friend and I each had a bento box set.Everything was great apart from the octopus which was chewy and rubbery.
