Really good family run restaurant!
The beef hummus was the star of our three dishes. Who would have thought to put ground beef over hummus. The accompanied pita was delicious.
Musakhan rolls were very aromatic and delicious with yogurt.
The Mfarakeh had less flavour but still quite enjoyable.
We had Turkish coffee along with Kunafeh for dessert and what a pairing.
We will definitely be back.
Really enjoyable visit, great food and drinks.
Food was great. Service was a bit slow but they were setting up for a large group.
Easily one of the best middle-eastern restaurants I've ever been to (and we got to a lot)! The staff is friendly and inviting, the food is AMAZING, at the atmosphere is always clean and welcoming!
The elephant in the room if you've read other reviews: the wait for the food. Yes there's a little wait, but I cannot emphasize enough how worth it it is for the quality of the food. I've waited much longer for lesser food and been happy. The VERY SMALL added wait for a freshly prepared dish here (not pre-made or frozen ahead of time) is so etching I hadn't even considered until I read the other reviews.
I love this place. My wife and I have been SO MANY TIMES and have yet to be disappointed. We've brought many friends (of the culture, even) who have raved to us about how great it was.
Love Zaytoon. I'm going to talk about it to as many people as I can.

Fear Allah who created. That's all I can tell you. Deep down your heart, You know the truth. Goodluck
We came as a big family, excited to enjoy a meal together, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We had to wait a long time to receive our food, and the customer service was not welcoming or inviting at all. To make matters worse, we were overcharged, and when we asked for clarification, the staff refused to explain what we were being charged for. This lack of transparency and hospitality really took away from our dining experience. Definitely not a place we would return to or recommend.
Just bad all together. save yo time and money honestly. the worst customer services and hidden prices that don't make sense at all. and the food tastes like its leftovers absolutely no flavour. and the wait time was an hr long plus you have to basically beg for water.YIKES
Zaytoon was a disappointing experience. The food was overpriced for the quality, with small portions that didn’t match the high cost. The service was slow and unorganized, with long wait times and inattentive staff. It felt like they were more focused on rushing customers out than providing a good dining experience. Definitely not worth the price—there are far better options in town. Also they charged gratitude fees, which is 18%, it is like a tip which you have to pay if you even don’t want to pay. Very disappointing.
Zaytoon is one of my favourite spots. The interior is cute - perfect for a date night or lunch with pals. The food portions are sizeable so you won’t leave hungry. The presentation of the food is awesome. It has a community feel. The staff are warm and friendly. Highly recommend. A gem of Osbourne Village.
